    N_Thea I can’t do the link thing, but if you go to the Writer’s Section, you’ll see two tabs at the top. One will say ‘Works’, the other will say ‘Discover’. Click on the ‘Discover’ one, and scroll down. You should see the link for it there, if the pilots are still going. Click on it to learn about the contest(rules, word could requirements, deadline dates, etc..).

    All stories are vetted at 12,000 words published, and you need 100,000 words published to qualify for the awards. I believe the deadline for the word count is in 13-14 days from now(depending on time zone). If you don’t think that you can hit the required word count in time, there are also the current writing prompt contests listed with the Spirity Awards Contest.

    Since you’re new, here are a few helpful tips:

    •There is a helpful set of videos that the editors put together in the ‘Academy’ icon. I also suggest clicking on the Help Center at the bottom of your profile. Follow the ‘Writer’ prompts to learn about being a writer for Webnovel.

    •Whether you are aiming for a contract or not, stockpile chapters before hitting the Publish button.

Since it’s the weekend, the editors are off, but I suggest contacting one on Monday for further steps. I believe the verification process is automatic, but I’m not sure.                   Ice_Princesss you’re no bother, dear😊 For a book to be vetted, you must reach 14K words published. It takes a few business days, sometimes up to a week if the editors are busy. After that, you can apply for a contract through the InkStone side of Webnovel. I use the app, so this is what I did:

                  Profile> Help Center> Writing

                  Follow all the prompts; especially the top one. That will lead you to the InkStone side, and you’ll be able to talk with the editors, or leave them a message if they’re busy or off work. Also check out the ‘Discovery’ tab at the top of the writer’s section. There’s tons of useful stuff there. It’s all general stuff, but it’s what I can think of at the moment.                         daniz_ The featured thing happens when you have a contract with Webnovel. In order for that to happen you should have reached to a specific number of words in your novel. It's possible for them to offer you the contract or you can talk to an editor about filling out the form to apply for one.
