Honestly, just do it. Try one of the writing prompts. Your first book probably won't be your best, but you'll learn alot from it. And who knows you might even get lucky with a contract

anushka_puri If you enjoy it and do this in your spare time then why not, but if you’ll end up sacrificing sleep or time for exercise then don’t do it.
anushka_puri You should give it a try... I'm also 16 and I'm writing a novel... It's a hobby too and a nice happy that could give you the future opportunity at the same time... Good luck
anushka_puri sure you can give it a try as you are in that age where you are trying to see where you can fit in society...
In my case am 22 and started writing last October because of Coronavirus... And so far, i see myself expanding as the plot isn't dying and my novels have potential.
So I suggest you give it a try, who knows maybe you can became a full time writer while continuing with studies.
