I’m not a fan of female mc romance webnovels bc they’re all the same so far. Skilled girl reincarnates into bullied noble girl. Gets strong, face slaps everyone else, gets a hopelessly lovestruck boyfriend/husband. I especially hate how much of a doormat the guy is for no reason whatsoever. I can see the guy falling for the girl but they rarely have a good reason to go as far as they do. The girls don’t even save his life or anything grand. I won’t say no female mc or romance but at least make the romance somewhat believable.

UnderTaker26 you have a point but always remember, people have different tastes. Some people may find FP novels unappealing because some novels have cliché romance and plot stories but for some people like me, no matter how silly and cliché they are, we still love reading it.
Also, it's not an exaggeration to say that almost MP novels especially those cultivation based novels or those Sci-Fi and RPG/Game ones have the same denomination--has the same cliché story about a trash being despised by the world, got some cheat skill, changed his destiny, got tons of ladies following, became an OP individual, face-slap his enemies and conquer the world. (I'm not trashing those novels coz I love those MP too and got addicted to reading them). It's just that, Chinese-based novels have this 'trend' in making stories for their novels. Almost 90% of novels that have the same genre are similar with each other whether its MP or FP novels.
And what I'm looking right now are the similarities of those fP novels (face-slapping bitches, revenge, finding awsome husband, etc).
That's the essence of 'fiction'. Everything can happen. Even the silliest thing.
Granted that there are 'realistic' and 'unique' stories out there but it would only be counted on fingers (or a few more).
If you could suggest a romace novel that is more on realistic side. I would definitely appreciate it.

reverinne point taken. Similar to you I also never get tired of the classics except I like the male lead cultivation and face slapping version. The only thing I hate is the harem aspect. If I see harem on NU I ignore it unless there’s nothing else to read. Anyway for what you’re looking for; I can recommend stunning edge. That’s my favorite webnovel with female mc. It’s basically a classic cultivation novel except the mc is female. It has everything a male lead would have but reversed with a female lead. Powerups, friends, pets, reverse harem. While I normally don’t like harems Reverse harems are rare enough to make me feel like it’s a breath of fresh air plus I love the main girl’s personality. Cold and manipulative but cares about her friends

Rebirth of Fa Wei Lan by harui30, an amateur writer as according to the author - Volume 1 & 2 complete - It’s written in first person but the author did a good job of making it felt like it’s from a 3rd POV (if you know what I mean).
NOTE: If you’re hoping for a rebirth = revenge plot then you WILL BE disappointed. This MC is NOT like Shen Miao (Rebirth of the Military Empress) nor like Li Wei Yang (Princess Wei Yang) instead she seek a better life by avoiding her tragedy past life. However, good news! The relationship between MC and ML is sooooo cute! Moreover, ML is very devoted to MC but the second volume....man this ML got bedroom issue especially how he treated her after marriage life. But you read it and you decide what your opinion.

Pick the Second Male Lead - someone mentioned it above and it’s by the same author as Rebirth of Fa Wei Lan.

The Whisper of the Nightingale - OMG, How can I forgot this novel! It’s well written, good plot with assassin FL transmigrating into a lovely family then BOOM author dropped a tragedy = MC reverting back to her previous self. Sad but good story tho.

Wang Xin Yu by Keishi23 - At first I was skeptical whether this is a CN translated into English cause of the good quality but I was surprised to found out it’s an original. I was really happy cause at that time majority of original ancient chinese novels contained lots of grammar and it’s similar to MTL. But sadly, the author no longer update it or perhaps it was dropped. Sob. It’s only 3 chapters though.

There’s still other but I need to take a bath so I’ll stop here.

UnderTaker26 Well, I'm not really against harem coz some of the MP novels that I like (AGM, BTTH, Devouring the H, Mad God, MGA, Wu Dong, Tales of D&G and the others) are all building their own grand harem but If I were to choose, I'd still want them to only have one FL like Linley (he's my dream man hahahahah) from Panlong and the MCs of Soul Land (Dou Lou Da Lou) trilogy. (Initially, I really hate harem but I just forced myself to accept it (it took me almost 500 chaps to adjust for my first harem novel) since I have no choice coz all my fave MP novels are all harem
Luckily most of the MPs' lives doesn't really revolves on their ladies and focus on the path of dao (I'm also a sucker for this classical cultivations too).
Ahh.. It would be good if even tho it's a harem, it's just a one sided feelings for the girls. I still would prefer the MC to only love one FL (and does not act like a stud horse, spraying sperm everywhere ) and the other girls are just decorations.
