Basically my question is when do original novel hit the Qidian shelf? I posted first chapter of my novel about 6 hours ago and its still not in the catalog. Do I have to wait more or something went wrong when I published first chapter? I am asking this because I experienced a lot of lags and error messages from the website when I tried to upload it.

Correct me If I’m wrong, I read it somewhere yesterday that if you post a chapter today then the chapter will show up tomorrow. Since we’re on the topic of originals, you know where the original are located? I realized that most of them don’t show up on the main page. I have to clicked on an original novel then scrolled down to see the “You might also like” then 4 or 5 originals will be recommend below.
Thanks mate, I was a bit panicking about my novel not being listed especially after seeing buggy 'book cover' function and not working 'add author's thoughts' thingy. Seems like I need to chill a bit and wait for people's reviews.
DarkShadowow There isn't a way to search for just original novels yet.
But you can go to here https://www.webnovel.com/category/list?category=0&orderBy=1 and you can see them all since they're all the newest ones on the site.
It's not the easiest or best way to check out the new novels, but it's something.
Kulha thanks dude. TBH Qidian is one of the most inconvenient and buggy platforms I ever used (for authors of content). The only upside to it is the size of user base and publicity.
DarkShadowow if you are using ios app, just tap on the new arrival, most of the new originals are there.
