I co-post on Wattpad and archiveofourown, but I haven't made any new chapters for my fanfics or published them on either of those in almost a year. I've tried reading over my work to see if it can spark anything, but I'm stuck in the darn block known as writer's block.

Any advice?

TerressaWinner in my personal opinion, it would always be rest your mind first because it might just be tired. Then, read books too. Reading books actually makes me think of my own work. After that you could re-read your book, if you already had ideas of your book, it will eventually come back if you reread your book. Your mind is the greatest flower, it will always bloom because it's where your masterpiece started.

I agree with Iamrachael and Kuri_311, but would like to add music to the list. That is where I draw the majority of my inspiration from. Personally, I prefer instrumental music. Check out Antti Martikainen, Two Steps From Hell, and Fox Sailor. Gamer/gaming music is awesome, too. If the fanfic that you’re writing is about a show/anime, check out the music for it. Doing so might lead to an Epiphany. I hope this helped
