My friend, you seem to be misunderstanding something. They don't write harem for themselves, not entirely anyway, they write it for the readers.

Also, in what world would a woman agree to be with a man who has more than one woman? I don't know, maybe, like maybe, the real world? Like maybe polygamy still exists in the real world? No?

I’m able to gain 85 US dollars per-hr. to complete few jobs on the internet. I’ve never thought like it could possible but my best pal has obtained $26,000 just in six weeks simply doing this super job also she satisfied me to try…Visit for fresh guidance on following link >>> http://Www.MoneyStar1.com

SlaveOfTheLord I know that polygamy existed but that was in the past in most countries' polygamy is illegal except for the middle east I haven't heard of polygamy existing nowadays. Also, I would never want to be with a girl who holds herself to such a low standard as to accept their man's being with another girl.

SlaveOfTheLord I literally said that it still exists in the middle east and parts of Africa I've even seen a documentary about a guy with a harem in the United States. Also, I never read Harem novels I find them distasteful I'm just annoyed at how many novels are ruined by fan service and horny people. Literally 90% of the novels on this website are harems the fanfiction section at least. I just want people to be more creative with their writing, the trash novels with harems are super popular while the good ones with no harems are underappreciated. Can't wait for the harem trend to pass.

On the topic of real life, harems in fiction are very different from ploygamy in the real world. The reason why multiple women marry the same man isn't because they are head over heels in love with him and are willing to share him like how it's depicted in these weird novels, but because of politics, security and finances. In fact, most of the time, these marriages are arranged - the parents selling their daughter off to a wealthier family, for example.

So saying that harem novels are realistic because polygamy exists in reality doesn't actually make any sense.

I'll say this here, don't care whether you get it or not.

You lot fail to acknowledge that you see the world from your own eyes. So, either you break your shell and come down from your mighty seat or stay in the safe haven created by your own beliefs.

Johnley_Beauvais_0587 Actually I'm African and although we claim to have accepted the white man's civilization, polygamy is still a thing. It's widely aknowledged. Some traditions also clearly state that a male definitely the first born must have more than one wife.

Fun fact: I think when most authors can't decide which girl for him to end up with a harem is born. You know, they clearly have the fl in mind but they jusItecan't let go of the other female characters.

It also satisfies readers I guess. Because with a harem almost every reader's Cp gets to sail.

Johnley_Beauvais_0587 they probably write under that genre because that is what they deemed to be the most "popular/famous" story-like topics that attract a lot of readers which can help them to earn some money.

You can observe that in most novels found in Web Novel. I practice selective reading and I do not read under that overly used and annoying genre.

Yeah, thats true, I dont write it for myself but for my readers. I am an author and I feel conflicted since I dont like harem but on the long run its better if I want more arcs for several chapters.

Here things we want in harem:
•get creative and branch out new ideas
•not all girls insanely attracted to mc he is stranger
•group personality and how they get along
•personality and why she slowly like mc
•less then 2-3 girl to take time us reader to know them

It's all because of the demand. Simple as that.
Weird and not worth the time for you, but a treasure for other people. As long as the concept of beautiful women falling hopelessly in love with one man (who, by the way, may be overpowered) continues to attract readers, then there will always be people who write to satisfy them.

Though I don't like harems at all, I doubt this 'trend' will die down anytime soon. We might be the minority here, people.

Honestly, harems are easier to write. I’ve seen too many harems being shoved in one throat these days.
I’ve thought I could escape from it in modern novels, but it’s even there now. 😓
