How sad that using an anti-theft strategy on this site harms a large group of readers who even pay a membership to read their favorite novel and support its author, with this implementation not only the readers will be affected, but also the authors affected by the large number of users who have thought to stop reading on this site.
New anti-piracy strategy
What anti-theft strategy? And how does it affect readers and writers? Why would an anti-theft strategy stop users from reading on this site? Isn't it supposed to do the exact opposite?
no entiendes soy latino hablo y leo español no se inglés y el Google Chrome es quien me traduce las novelas que compro con oro y tikers ahora entiendes muchas persona latinas y de otros Países
Tomoyuki Many people who don't speak or read English read on this site and the new anti-theft strategy breaks the translation and doesn't let people read their novels.

Miguel_Goenaga What exactly is this anti-theft strategy? Does it disable Google Translation or something?

Hello, I'm Brazilian, I have the same problem, I don't speak English, I used Google Chrome to translate too
what will happen now to those who don't speak English? how are we going to read?
It would be nice if someone from the administration could respond.
Tomoyuki Basically it encrypts the text of the chapter so that it cannot be copied and that causes the translator to not translate the content well.

Has anyone tried other web browsers?

Hi, where can. I. find Spanish novels. To. Read?
Same problem. Tried other browsers and plugins, but nothing working.
If u open the html of the text u will understand how is writed, the order of the words are scambled and coded with a random font, basically every char is another "symbol" and the font show The right char, when translator try to read the text it will found only useless stuff...
so in an attempt to stop users from using TTS they not only bricked translation from being used but also encouraged users to literally copy the content of chapters, just so that users can read it.
It is exactly for anti-piracy system against TTS(text to speech) that has caused this.
This is how it looks it looks to TTS:

I can understand the need for copyright protection but there is a point where the return on implementation will actually be detrimental to a website instead of beneficial.
also Per forugra, in a different bug report still related to google translate.:
It's stupid anti-piracy system. Here a way you can try to avoid any sort of their strange systems:
1) Make a long screenshot of all chapter. My browser has build-in function for it. Just google screenshot with scroll,
2) Leave only wanted text in this screenshot.
3) OCR it. Just google "OCR online".
4) Get text from previous move and put it in translator.
Till you see text you will can translate it. It's work averywhere also.

unfortunately I'll also have to stop following my favorite novels on the site, I also used google translator and now I just can't read anymore, I even go out of my way, because I have no use for the coins I've already paid.

At the moment the solution of Imperator_Nicolae has worked for me, it gives more work when translating, but I can take a screenshot of the entire chapter and convert it with the FireShot chrome extension
also in case, none said it yet, the translation function is only blocked on any paid chapters, free chapters are fine.
