Oke so i hope somone could give me an answer to this but ive been reading on my pc on webnovel for quite some time now and its always been good but the past few days when i read spaces ae missing between words and some words are shuffled. anynone know how to fix this? it is not the novel cause on the app it works just fine.

LeonLiegt I've noticed the same thing in the last two days. I need to refresh the page in order to unscramble the scrambled words. And as I scroll down, the page has a tendency to suddenly stutter repeatedly as long as I scroll back up and down again. It's like there are specific locations in the page that forces the stutter.
Yeah, its only happening on the browser. All the problems started when WN made changes with anti-piracy and fast passes. Now everything is messed up. Just refresh the page and it should sort it out. If it doesn't, what I did was commented on the paragraph and then went to my profile and clicked on it to check what it said

having the same issue with firefox when i long scroll it only moves like 2-3 lines making it hard to move to next chapter or move paragraphs when reading . chrome is better with scrolling but has the occasional frame tear that fixes itself when it catches up.
What they did is very stupid. They generate new font with characters moved around. Originally, byte 0x61 represents 'a', byte 0x62 represents 'b' and so on. But in their font they 'changed' the values, that represent each character. Don't know whether this font is generated only one time or for each chapter.
Calling it anti-piracy is very unwise, as it is quite simple to solve for those pirate sites. There are 2 solutions that they can use.
As to why you have problems with spaces and words, it's (as I assume) precisely because of that. And this problem should only be present in paid chapters. There are bugs in their anti-piracy algorithm encryption, or in their new font.
I only read free fanfics, and haven't encountered this problem, but from your description I get that bug happens, when you scroll down to next chapter? If so, then that means they generate new font for each chapter, and fonts become overlapped or sth.

ok so i got 2 places where i live and i just found out on 1 pc i dont have the problem anymore but with the other which im on now it is still happening? this is so annoying

MarioBros Excuse me, I'm going to intrude here. I'm going through the same difficulties. Every chapter I read from "Bloodwarlock: Succubus Partner in the Apocalypse", "Re: Evolution Online", "Vile evil hides under the veil" and now in the novel "Shadow Slave" has this buggy letter problem, probably in all paid chapters of all stories are like this. I use google translate to read here and all these paid chapters have this problem, probably because of the anti piracy system. Please fix this. This is a really annoying problem.

Yes it's completely broken and so far I've gotten no feedback from webnovel. I've spent a pretty penny on their books. Now I guess they don't want anymore of my money.

Having the same problem. Came back to webnovel recently. Purchased some chapters. The purchased chapters have scrambled paragraphs, maybe 1 in 4 are unreadable. The problem only appears on the PC, the app is fine.
same here, looks like they don't care about PC users since their focus is their APP where they can force you to watch tons of ads.

MarioBros I'm also having the same issue. I thought it was only some chapters at first but its all paid books. Recently I've been reading the WSA and free daily books and the problem is still there.
