I love litrpg.
I love cultivation.

The only problem is, I don't really like it when the main character has some cringe overreaching plot that they must reply to. Why does there have to be a plot? And if there isn't a plot, why does the story have to be slice of life?

Of course, not all web novels are like this. I've come across one web novel so great that it has blown my mind....
Azarinth Healer.

Endless grinding, and all about adventure, with no underarching plot. That's just what I'm looking for.

Oh, also, only violent main characters please. That's the only reason why I don't like Beneath the Dragoneye moons very much.

Honestly, there are a couple of other webnovels getting there. Delve is one of them, only crushed by it's crushingly slow pace of advancement and focus on the stupid town. As for the others... I can't remember them anymore.

Finally, I think the key too a good endless grind webnovel is a good system. A system that doesn't just leave you bored. The systems in delve and Azarinth Healer have especially interesting systems, to me.

Alright, that's all I've to say. Now, it's up to you guys to let the creative juices flow in.
Let the endless grind begin (hopefully) 😎

Because usually when people read stories, they want to, like, read stories, not a write-up of some dude's Old School Runescape Ultimate Ironman session.

Far be it from me to tell people that their drama-less fiction tastes are invalid when I love the completely inconsequential plots of Murakami books, but... by all that is holy, why are you looking for this content in a book instead of in a Let's Play or in an actual video game?

Almost everyone reads stories for some flavor of interpersonal drama, external stakes, or both. That's like asking why everyone who makes food either wants it to be perfectly healthy and nutritious or full of salt and fat... when all you want is a plate of raw onions covered with Lawry's® Seasoned Salt (Mediterranean Herb [with OREGANO & BASIL]).

Are there other people who enjoy that? Probably. Are there many other people who want that over the kinds of things we usually think of as food? Probably not.
