tbh I think this is the end of webnovel fanfics, as everyone that stayed for fanfics is now moving elsewhere.. I mean, even the authors can't read the content they literally wrote?? what's with that!

i requested the same thing my reasons were my bad eyes. i cant only use the app thanks to them and here is what i got from the after contacting the customer service i got an email.

If you are reading thru Website or mobile browser, you may only read the first 10 chapters, then ’download the App’ will appear to continue reading in the App.

Primarily, Webnovel is a reading App platform that is why most functions and features are only available in the App. If you wish to use other functions like Text-to-Speech, getting more rewards for completing missions and unlock and read more chapters of the book you were reading, you can download and use the Webnovel app instead.

We would like to inform you as well that using Webnovel App has more benefits than using website and mobile browser, like getting points rewards in reading novels. You will get 5 points for every 2 minutes of reading. The maximum daily limit is 300 points. That will be equivalent to 120 minutes of reading time daily. You can use Points to exchange it with Fast Pass in the Store page of the App, 1000 Points can be exchange with 1 Fast Pass.

Webnovel has came up to this update to protect the rights and interests of the writers of our platform. We have implemented anti-theft measures against this and this limit most of the website's feature.

Alexander_Heim my reason is the app always got crashed. In my device the app isn't running et all. They said that they will try to give some exception. If the request got approved they will contact me, they need 2-3 day for the proses. Now, i can only wait for their approval, if they approved my request.

Complaint.

In the last two days, Webnovel has been forcing FANS to download ITS Webnovel APP for all devices (laptops, readers, IOS...etc.). When I first discovered this site, it was optional, now to continue to read, I am forced to download an APP I don't need or want. I was able to pay per chapter and purchase chapters in "Bundles." These options are completely removed, so to continue reading "FANS," have no choice but to download the APP.

As a FAN, I feel greatly disappointed in this decision, whether by the authors or upper management, to force its FAN BASE to download its app just to read. Not only will the authors lose out on revenue, but fans like myself will go elsewhere for their enjoyment.
==Note: After reading the few free chapters, I will be removing stories from my library since I am unable to purchase chapters. I do not see a reason to keep it. I will also be posting this complaint in other books to show my displeasure.

Good grief. They don't even know their own prices. 1 FP in the APPs shop is 2000 points, not 1000.

I've seen others try to make 'sites' but it never seems to work. It needs a huge commitment. Look at how TapRead failed.
