Exlor Agreed. Making a sypnosis for a book is the hardest thing, it is because you have to try to not reveal anything that could spoil the whole idea of the novel itself.

Writing a synopsis is different from writing a novel. It's more about marketing than story telling, so sometimes even a great author, can't write a great synopsis
Exlor Very true, however, sometimes the author doesn't realize their synopsis is to plain, so if I feel their synopsis is to bland, I tend to explain such to the author, and if they do not change it, i just assume that the book too is plain in my opinion, however, if they change it, than it's all the better, so @WanDongDong I suggest you do the same.;,;.
randomgal23 exactly, my synopsis was horrible the first week after I publish my original. It was only a week later that I can make a decent synopsis.

WanDongDong Could it be, that some words are missing from the synopsis?
A good synopsis should contain a 'hook' to 'reel' readers in. By hook I mean the cool thing that makes your story worth reading, for example a system or reincarnation. They should be as short as possible so potential readers can judge at a glance if the story fits their interests or not. I think a lot of readers get confused because some synopses don't incorporate a hook in their description, or do so too vaguely in order to avoid spoiling their carefully constructed plot. It's a difficult challenge to balance between informing your readers and avoid spoiling too much.

I don't like Yaoi, but I can still try to give advise. It's too Long for my Taste or has some unnecessary information for the Synopsis I think.
My try:

I changed some words based on Feeling, and Cut Short Parts that were probably Part of later Plot (found unnecessary for Synopsis)
But I changed it based on my Feeling for Storys and excitement with out knowledge of the actual plot so it is might Not be fitting to reflect the atmosphere of the story.
My Point is Just "less is more" sometimes, in my opinion :)

already Seen it :) , it is Short but I think it is also enough to get people hooked and interested. It depends on the Story, some might need more to get the Essence across
Yeah, I guess as long as the main plot point is something not too strange, your synopsis doesn't need to be too explicit

My synopsis is totally scattered. And Im trying to piece them together and make it better.

Synopsis
Margaret Laurence and Arthur Bridge are two people who would never interact with the other if things happen as supposed to.
She is smart and witty with a cheerful personality and stubborn attitude. He is silent and moody with a laid back attitude.
Margaret is practically invisible, just another face in the crowd. But troubles still seems to find her no matter how hard she tried to hide.
Arthur is always the center of attention. He is known throughout the college for all the wrong reasons. He went from being the popular new guy to the most notorious guy in college.
When these two stumble into an unexpected friendship, many things become clear. Margaret begins to see beyond the silent and lazy exterior of Arthur as she finds an unlikely ally in her lonesome life.
And just when things seem to fall in place, Arthur is falsely accused, and Margaret is intent on proving his innocence, even if it meant going against the whole university.
