Is there any information on editor/proofreader positions? For example, minimum amount of content needed to be worked through. If the position(s) is associated with a specific translators or stories. If the position(s) is in a pool, and the stories/translators pull from the pool of editor/proofreaders to finish the translation process.

Yes, I am good at proofreading but I don't think I am good at editing since it's more complex. For example:
"The editing process can involve correction, condensation, organization, and many other modifications performed with an intention of producing a correct, consistent, accurate and complete work."
If Qidian has a purely proofreading position, I would be glad to help out.
For example, if Qidian offers $0.20 per typo, catching 100 typos would net the proofreader $20.
If it takes 1 hour to catch 50 typos, the proofreader is making $10 per hour.
Editing is a lot more than just proofreading. At least that is my understanding.
Catching typo is easy. Good editing is hard. I don't want to be an editor if I don't think I will do a good job at it.

Good reply, and I believe good editing on translating works can be even harder. As it depends on how much English the translator knows, as well as how much of the original language is known. The reverse can also be true, if the editor does not know the original language they can miss mistakes made in the translation or make them in the editing process, (possibly by changing contextual meanings while editing). So, you are editing the translated work, while trying to maintain the original intent the author had, which to me, makes it a collaborative effort with the translator and the editor to achieve a good result.
