Choka Respectfully, I disagree. If the first chapters put the reader of entirely, then there's nobody left to get to the good stuff. Sure, the story, world development, character, emotions, developments, etc. are important, but the medium being used to tell the story is only thing that remains prevalent throughout the entirety of the work. As such, if the writing is filled with grammatical errors and the story is interrupted with copious exposition, then the rest of the work becomes inhibited. But hey, that's why there isn't just one reviewer or critic to rule them all, we all value things differently, that's kind of the point of this thread. If I liked it more, I would've read more.
