I'm interested in a review swap with you. I quite liked the first chapter of your novel. I'm just wondering if you would be willing to make an honest review of my story, since it's not an original novel, so to speak, but a fanfic crossover of the isekai type (yes, I know that sounds pretty bad. But I assure you it's better than it sounds; I'm putting a lot of heart into the story). Anyway, if you're interested in exchanging reviews, let me know so I can read the other 2 chapters and leave my honest opinion about it.
Best regards.
Fitoxi Hello! I’m not the person you replied to previously, but if you’re interested, would you like to review swap? If so, please @ me and reply with your link, thanks!

Hey, I am about to do your review. I will send you my link. Do you want to read a dark sci-fi fantasy. Or a hybrid (vampire, werewolf) demon hunter?
I just posted a review for your story [The Strongest Cultivation God] and have added it to my library. I'm interested in a review exchange, so I'll leave the link to my story below. However, I warn you beforehand that it's an isekai fanfic (yes, I know it sounds bad, but it's better than it sound), so I don't know if you'd agree to leave a review. However, I hope you can give it a chance despite the theme of my story.
have a nice day!

Of course I'm interested [eudine]. I'm open to read any kind of story; I just took a quick look at your story and I think it will take me a few hours to send you the review of the 8 chapters (however, I have just posted my thoughts from chapter 1, as a preliminary review of everything you have written about your work)., but you will have it within the day (or night depending your location in earth hehe). In the meantime, I'll leave the link to my story below:

I review your novel
My honest review (based on 4 chapters):-
- You should work on grammar and at least read your chapter before publishing. (You sometimes misspelled the name of the character like zeek to deek or something)
- You should introduce your character's features so that readers can imagine them. (I read 4 chapters and I don't even know how MC looks)
- You should explain the scenes surrounding well.
- You are doing everything at a very fast pace. I know you want to get to the interesting part but don't destroy the story for it.
What you can do better:-
- You can use Grammarly or some other writing tools. Read your chapter before publishing.
- You can describe some small features of the character like "Queen chandi, who has blond hair with golden eyes, looks like a fairy with white angle-like wings behind her back." It's a simple example.
- You can describe your surrounding like “Inside a palace, In the throne room, Queen chandi, who has blond hair with golden eyes, looks like a fairy with white angle-like wings behind her back. Sitting on a golden throne her majestic look can make anyone's head bow. In front of her, some distance away stand 2 persons, One woman who has…” something like that so that reader can imagine the things. You can write like this putting yourself in MC’s or other characters' perspectives. Don’t forget to end the scene with ***, … whatever you prefer these things also have some meaning like *** will end the scene and … will continue the same scene after some time as I have read hundreds of novels I came to know that fact.
- You can maintain the pace like you can finish the other scene fast but you should keep a slow pace while developing important characters. You can give time to show a good relationship between MC and her lover then you should kill her lover so that reader can sympathize with her and understand her feeling. You just show that they love each other and show them hugging. (I never read a love story so I don’t know much about it).
What you can do extra:
- Try to write a novel from different Characters and MC’s perspectives. That will help readers to connect with MC more and help them to understand important characters feeling.
- Take some time to develop a world a little. I as a reader read at least 10 chapters before dropping it and I am very picky so I think most people read at least 10 chapters so you have time to describe important details and make your novel interesting. As a reader, I can confirm that better world-building makes readers read more.
- Don’t use difficult names. our novels will be read by people globally so use common names. I will be honest I don’t know how to pronounce the MC’s name (Genève).
I took my time to write this review. I hope this will not only help you but also others. I am not a professional writer but I know a thing or two by reading hundreds of novels. If you find any problem in my way of writing you can feed back me as well.

Hey, I really appreciate you taking the time to write this. You offer some excellent advice. Want to hear the funny part? I actually did use Grammarly, and hired a professional editor before I published the novel on Amazon. After I published, I kept getting the same feedback. 1. The first chapter didn't hold the reader's attention (too many details, not enough action). 2. The reader wanted to know more about the characters and their background. So I took the book down, and chopped the first chapter in half(removing character descriptions inadvertently) and added more information about characters and more dialogue scenes that highlighted personality. I must have completely forgotten to edit, and that is especially important for me to do... I make a lot of mistakes. Thank you for reminding me. I will definitely go back and do that.
Now, when you say write from multiple characters perspectives are you saying I should switch it to first person narration and write from each characters point of view? I actually go back to both of the first two worlds and build them better. Did you make it to when Geneve took over the town? I started really building her new world there. You think its too late or not enough details ? Did you make it to Alizeh and her world, Platonia? If so, was the world building and character description lacking there too? Also, Would it help at all if I make the first chapter a prologue?
