I am just curious, as a novice, newcomer writer that only have begun his novel,what is the minimum requirements to acknowledged as official writer in qidian? I love reading books, and i have tons of idea for my novel, it is just, i can't typing all day long. At most only 1500-3000 word per day as it is squeeze out my every brain cell (no kidding, im serious) i have not submitted my novel to webnovel because i am curious about it and need some editing.

I believe it doesn't have to do with the word count. The word count should (all of this is just my assumption based on the few things webnovel made public) only be important for the minimum guarantee program. The thing I would think is more important to first of all become an official author is how many people actually want to read your book. But as I said: I'm also just assuming :D

Holocaust_666 As far as I know, unfortunately, the event with the covers has long ended. I believe the due date was on July 1st? And they actually had done the number of covers they were giving out for quite some time by then
Holocaust_666 There is no being an OFFICIAL author on here, the closest thing is either being a respected author (exactly as yansusustories said) or having the author badge. However, most people like to read an average of one chapter per day and the expected chapter length on this site tends to be 1k-2.5k words, so to be able to write 1k-3k is safe if that's your chapter length, my chapters honestly tend to come less often but be longer (once a week and 2k-4k) I have a specific reason for the less time however.
As far as the cover goes, you may be able to simply start a thread to ask, however, there is no official way to go about getting such.;,;.
DeJeL Thats what i mean my dear. The word official it self just passing in my head alright then, i think i need to piling few chapter first before submit my work, well about cover i think i will work about it somehow

Holocaust_666 if you only can write one chapter per day, would be better if you already prepare some chapters before releasing your story

Not saying I disagree, but how you stated this is like you were suggesting something new. If I were to have commented on that post, I would have said something more like "That is a good idea, storing up some chapters before posting, so that way when writing one chapter a day, which you said as your limit, if you get stumped or something, it does not slow down your post rate." This statement is saying the same thing you said while acknowledging that he said it first, whereas you did not.
