guys who read amber sword, if ur agree for this novel to start here please coment here. up the post

Azuciel The present translator takes quite a bit of creative freedom to alter certain aspects of the novel.

You mean he changes names from hard to remember chinese ones to western, works as an editor and also eliminates "chinese stutter" (meaning saying the same thing in slightly different form multiple times in a chapter).

    My experience with the novel:
Read it, loved it, forgot all the characters in it due to slow release, bitterly reread it, forgot it again, and gave up on it.

Good novel lol, I completely forgot about this one if no one had brought it up. +1
Also keep in mind that this novel already has a great deal of free chapters which mean it could have a very low chance of being picked up by WN. But hey don't let that stop your upvote, heck just keep pounding the door until you get notices. :D

TAS is an Qidian Novel? Huh, didn't know that. I guess that makes it eligible to be picked up, that would be nice, I haven't seen a new chapter for like a month or two I think. My NU reading list is very sad to always see it without a new update every time I refresh. I read it like a year ago and re-read it a few months back only to read like 8 new chapters or something. Gave me a headache.

Anyways lets assume that it does eventually get picked up, what writing style will the new translation have I wonder...I hope it isn't too weird or outlandish to the point of not wanting to read.

Well, there was just a mass-release of chapters by the current translator. Made my day it did. Apparently the translator wants to focus on the pursuit of his art career and is unsure of the potential future releases (He said normal releases would maybe pick-up by January of Next Year however in my opinion nothing is ever certain in life, he might choose to prioritize his art career) He's still doing paid for chapters though and there's 7 chapters gonna be released for this month that were stockpiled from months prior.

          Additional Information:
-The translator was sick (Severely, apparently) and that caused him to miss the deadline he had set months prior, making people believe that he had abandoned the novel.
-The mass-release ended on a high-note and I liked that very much.

-Most of the characters in TAS I have noticed are relatively massive assholes. (This is not criticism, just mere speculation)

Rextraos yeah i just read it yesterday when release, but finish in 5 hour. lol

but amber sword have almost 1500 chapter, if ur doing math . 1 month he release around 7-10 chapter
how long will finish to read it.

it makes me remember when i read Naruto in 2002, and finish it in 2014......

adrian26 Yeah, admittedly I stopped watching Naruto after they killed off my favorite character and solo player with rare loot surrounded by jealous noob guilds Madara; he embodied my hopes, dreams and ideal philosophy. That is until he got insta-killed and tossed away like a piece of shit along with all the dramatic buildup and lore associated with him.

Naruto reminds me of One Piece and Detective Conan in the way how I began watching it in my childhood and it seemingly does not wish to die. The One Piece Manga is said to be 70% done by the creator Oda ETA completed by 2028-2030. As for Detective Conan people say it'll probably be ended in 2021 or slightly afterwards.

Uhh right I got side-tracked, anyways yeah at this point I'll probably be dead by the time TAS gets fully translated. Doing the math, factoring in the 300 or so chapters and maximizing chapter release to 10 each month and that's around ten years.

Of course that's only if things stay the same, and I'm never optimistic enough to think nothing will ever not change. More likely than not Webnovel may pick it up in a few years or another translator will try to steal the cookie jar.

Now that Night Ranger is done, I hope that they pick this novel up.

Amber Sword is one of those underrated novels. Its absolutely brilliant. The only problem is the translations take time (the translator is lazy). Its better if webnovel picks it up. I am willing to pay to read.

I would like to see it translated too . +1

Can we vote for this to be translated or something? Translations for this have been completely stopped. I would definitely pay to read this one!
