QW_JiHi yeah I noticed I used to like bl anime shows but then got burned out because it wasn't super realistic or relatable even though I'm just a girl lol πŸ˜…

Sapphire_Ace I feel you so much on different levels.....I literally wrote 5 chapters on one story and than I started to write the second book ... and after I wrote five chapters for the second book I started to write the third one ...... Now I am having so much fun ! ....even thought it is a little hard to have big visible progress at one book.

QW_JiHi I have a morning routine of reading bl mangas as they update on mangabuddy. That's how much I like bl .So of course my first novel was bl mixed with furry. Hahahah !
I also like to write realistic and put lots of comedy in my novels.
I am in the most unconventional ideas so I guess I will probably like your book.I will git it a try.

I usually write in sprints of 25 minutes. Each sprints generally gives around 600 words and such 4 sprints makes its around 2400 words for me each day.

I also write listening to the writing music. Which gets in the mood to write.

If you have time check out my latest webnovel.

QW_JiHi I really enjoyed them .Although I am kind of sad because one of them was really long and I couldn't read it all. πŸ˜…
Thanks for checking my books too. I really laughed so hard at your memes .πŸ˜†
Mersi for the power stone too .I will return the favor .

Fantexic For me it never works doing it on time.If I have the revelation I can write few hours nonstop, and if I were to stop your technique will hush my ideas. And if I have zero ideas I can probably stay for 25 minutes staring at empty page.
What I am saying is that I might get bored having a routine and, then my ideas will fly away.
Glad it works for you !
        Keep up !

redlady I do too it has to come from some kind of inspiration but I usually try to think of ideas not necessarily when I'm actually writing it

I handwrite a draft first, which is filled with brainstorming ideas and so on. The structure is still a bit of a mess, but it's more or less the points for the story.
After that, I'll type the story based on the points. It's usually done between 30mins to 1 hour per chapter if I have the draft ready. I don't need to think too much and just imagined the scene based on what I had thought before in the messy draft when typing.
Also, I will listen to music when I'm typing. It helps me to sit for hours and typed the stories since I need to write at least 4000 words per day.

But well, that's just me and idk if it'll work for you. I have been doing it like this for years and so far, it's the best method for me. πŸ˜„ It takes a lot of time with this method, though, so for people who wanted to be efficient, it might not be the best method.

Hope it helps as reference since everyone is different. πŸ˜€

Sorahana I like to take it step by step cause for example because of one line in a dialogue can change the whole story. As I write I try to creat every situation to show something, not just because I want to write one situation specifically. I mean that I can express what I want to point out in different situations. That's why I don't like to be fixed or plan . But generally , I also know where I want the story to head .
Personally writing drafts can slow you down and make you have too many ideas that at some point you don't find the link between them when you want to form the chapter.I went through the same think when I started my fist book.I was so excited that at some point I couldn't write step by step but instead parts of the story .And later when I tried to see the line of the story ,trust me , it was a mess .
I think you should write how you want . But for someone who doesn't have time to write drafts and revise and more drafts , writing it slow thinking it through is easier mentally and you can write faster if you get use to the method. For me , in two hours , one chapter of 1500 word is done and is not a draft .I mean that I don't change anything anymore .Just a little grammar revise and is done.So in a day writing around 4000 word is easier and you have the chapter ready to be published. Also your head will not be overworked.
The 4000 are chapters for different books. So it is more fun . 😁
Here I come again , writing one paragraph ..... πŸ˜…

Sorahana that sounds like a super legit method, I've thought about doing it before but haven't sat down to do it

redlady remember there should be structure to a story but it depends on the kind of story your telling as to how long the book is to be and how short the chapters can be. I do agree it could make a mess but without some structure it could be a mess too.

redlady It's totally fine lol. Like I said above that it's only an example πŸ˜†

Everyone is different and if you think you can do it without using draft, then you're free to continue. I myself write more than 1 novels at the same time, so I used draft to keep track of the different storylines and their timelines.

redlady Same, oh my gosh! It’s so hard to keep one book sometimes, my mind refuses to let me only have ideas for one book at a time, I literally have 4 unreleased books in my Inkstone secretly pending as side stories since I suckβ€” (I mean like ROYALLY terrible) at β€œmonotasking” β€” I love this community, nobody else gets it!!

SalomeTadala Hahaha ! Totally get it .I am your twin .
I think you should just release the books. If you keep them there , you will never feel like they are good enough to be published. I myself overthink to much if I keep books unpublished and I tend to change the chapter many times.I guess as long as you feel that the chapter is OK not necessary perfect , you should publish it . I mean you will never have a perfect book while you multitask..... πŸ˜… I know that to well , since is so boring to revise and stuff.
Just write and publish ! Don't wait to get better. You will get better as you publish. Many reviews helped me find what I was missing or what I did good.Reviews are a good way of seeing where you have to improve as they also are a strong motivator .
I will check your books ! Keep up , darling ! I will support you !

                    Sapphire_Ace
I am a bit unsure of how many chapters the book will have but I guess that as long as the story is stable , the length of the book is something I should not be too concern about .What do you guys say about this ? Is it necessary to know how many chapters the book will have ?
I mean I can't plan 100 chapters ahead...although I think the book will be kind of long based on how slow paced the story line is .

Sorahana I recently bought a book about the snow flake method that incorporates both types of writing, outlining and basically pure organic free writing

redlady it's necessary to know possibly how long your book is going to be but if you're one hundred percent just being organic about it probably not. I'm just trying to plot mine out, even if there's more than one book within my book. It could also help to know word count for each chapter, to keep it consistent.
