I've started reading "A Stern Mistress from the Ancient Past Becomes the Cannon-Fodder in a Wealthy Family" basically just because it was limited free and seemed pretty ok.
It was kinda interesting until now (I usually don't like this type of stories where mc is from the past and is reborn in modern society, i prefer going back in time or in the future),
but why the hell it's just another of those webnovels where the woman is basically obligated to "fall in love" with the ml, regardless of his shitty personality, words and actions, and everything is pardoned just cause he's the ml?
The "husband" just returned home and it's all touchy and bs about how they are going to start sleeping together from now on and the FL need to use her period as a shield. "NO" is a complete sentence, why should they need to explain?
I just want them to really divorce and not drag this on...

On the other hand, any suggestions for novels with FL MC that aren't frustrating to read?

            Ale_Eonnie TBH, the majority of stuff on WN is trash. So I'm not super familiar with what the good FL romance stories are on WN.

            But if you don't mind buying books, I recommend Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi, Throne Of Glass by Sarah J. Maas, and if you want a romance that will emotionally hurt you: Air Awakens by Elise Kova.

            Btw, Air Awakens is quite the opposite of what you were complaining about. The FL constantly loses people and things and it honestly hurt me to read that series. That author knows the right place to stab your heart to cause the most pain, then once you think things are fine, the author twists the knife. And somehow, it's still a really good story to read.

                    You can try reading The Masked Vampire King's Accidental Bride. It's 151 chapters in. Stronge female lead with hidden identities. The ml doesn't have a shitty personality despite being most powerful.
                    I am myself waiting for updates, so if you are not someone who can wait for updates, it's not for you.
