After more than a year reading all kind of novels I've ended catching the authors, so I was looking for a new novel with a few hundred of chapters.

I'm tired of young masters, constant claping, not recognised mount tai, courting death, perma rape or characters that try to kill the MC all the time without proper research... I'm searching for a novel like chronogo (lan ke qi yuan) , where the peace of the history is relaxing or something like Top tier providence, secretly cultivate for a thousand years, where the main character literally is focused in cultivation, where even if he is forced to fight search a low profile and the plot doesn't force him to act like a monkey looking for attention.

The genres can be anything, from cultivation, Reincarnation, isekai, mmorpg... I just search something where I can relax.

I don't mind FL or ML, just good story, no cliche

Its a fiction historical book about samurai seeking revenge. the story is in the Edo period but there is a few things that are fictional. its not a constant fight story it goes deep into the mind of Kazuki the ML.

Probably the closest thing that I could recommend to your preferences is The Three-Body Problem by Cixin Liu. It didn’t match my tastes, but a lot of people love it, including a lot of scientists I know. They are even making a movie of the first book.

If you want something fun, Vainqueur The Dragon by Maxime J. Durand (https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/26534/vainqueur-the-dragon) is a really good xenofiction series.
