I'm writing my first novel here and I just got contracted. I've written 20 chapters so far, but my work has very few views (3k+) and collections (6). And as a result, I'm suffering from depression and low self-esteem, sigh. 🙁

I'm not sure if it's my book cover, synopsis, first few chapters, or just plain bad luck.

I'd like ask if someone is interested to exchange honest reviews and do collection swap?

Honest as in we exchange reviews and collections if we really find each other's work interesting. Constructive feedback is very important to me.

    Mootsie_4082 I've seen your work and it wasn't so bad, in a way that it was comprehensible to read. It wasn't that great either, and not because you're lacking creativity, but for the reason that it's not in accordance with the trendy stories at the moment. A piece of advice from someone who's also new, just enjoy the process of writing and let nature takes its course. One day it's gonna be our turn to shine. Cheer up! Just the moment you were able to make 20 chapters without stopping is a great achievement already, you're doing something great! 🙂

        The novel is interesting and I like it but its a novel that does not work with the audience that visits this website. First and foremost, if you want to write anything that is not related to a "SYSTEM" then it necessary to write all the characters in Chinese. This is a website developed by a China company. SO to improve your views in the story I would recommend you to add a "SYSTEM". It doesn't have to be too big a change. For example: The main character get a system like interface, where the character can see the person's allegiance when the character looks at them. They can get this from a mysterious entity or even a witch in your story.

        This is my personal opinion and you can take it as a grain of salt.

            TheFilthyRhymer Thanks for the honest feedback! Yeah, on hindsight I feel like maybe the works in the platform have a different trend than what I'm writing for. So I guess I'll just let it be and stop stressing over the low views. Hehe.

I would have loved to give it a try, but have no idea about systems because I never play games. 😅 I took a look at your novel.                     Interesting concept! This was the first Female MC novel I read to "The End" (21chap) but I must say, it's good. Writing is smooth (at least for me), sometimes I laughed (😀), and in about thirty/forty minutes, I was on the End! Veterans may say you need to work harder or something and I may have just small terms for a Good Novel, but I think it's good! Continue with your hard work, Author! It's worth it! 😅 [Clapping Emoji]

                              It isn't actually worth to stress yourself for this. Be kind to yourself and just think of this as a fun experience 😄
