Can you pick Wang Yu's new novel? One of the best writers of Qidian. To me, His novel deserve to translate more than I eat Tomatoes' new novel and Mao Ni's new novel.
Sorry for my bad English.

maybe you have to link some of his other novels, we can identify ourselves with a new work easier if we know his old works, if they are known.
In this community if you say IET, we all at least know some of his works, but your author isn't really know...at least I don't
+1 One of the best author for me :)
Wang Yu's first novel A Record of a Mortal’s Journey to Immortality is Qidian's best-selling novel.

If you click on this link and use google translate, you can see it.
Also Er Gen steals a lot of content from Wang Yu. I think, Renegade Immortal is plagiarism from A Record of a Mortal’s Journey to Immortality.
As long as it's not harem then I am all for supporting it! Also I do agree this novel sounds much better than IET. I mean all of his works are similar just different MC and world but the end point remains the same.
Please, support the novel.
UP!
....
I think the main characters in IET's novels are always the same type. Those always go to the same pace. There is not much difference. Moreover, there is racism in Swallowed Star. I'm disappointed.
For Mao Ni, I read Ze Tian Ji. I think it's an overrated novel. ZTJ's score is also quite low in Qidian.
I'm not saying these two authors are bad. I am telling you that the new novel of both authors are being translated. Personally I think Wang Yu deserves more than IET and Mao Ni.
Sorry for my bad English.
Reinalce I haven't read RMJI due to the huge number of chapters and relatively slow translating speed, but I wouldn't call either Demon's Diary or The Portal of Wonderland amazing. They are definitely well-written, but I wouldn't go so far as to say that they are better than Mao Ni's or IET's stories. IMHO, Er Gen is in another tier altogether.
I agree with what you're saying about Er Gen.
He's in S+ tier. In my opinion at least, Wang Yu's in S tier.
Er Gen's novels are more epic than Wang Yu's novels.
But, We have to admit that Er Gen plagiarized Renegade Immortal from RMJI.
BOOOM!!!
Already have 42 chapters... :(
Eh so so, those novels are too slow if you ask me. And there's no way for Renegade Immortal to be copied from RMJI.
What is the Novel's Titel ?
Reinalce nice try, WANG YU. ; )
Reinalce It may be, and i am not defending him, but I still loved Renegade immortal much more than Record of mortals journey to immortality!!.. plagiarism is bad though(Unless it is done by someone better)
The Immortal's journey to mortals eatery , is the title of Wang Yu's new novel .
OldTimeTea The Immortal's journey to mortals eatery
Eatery as a cafe or restaurant?
Luta I only know restaurant as eatery i'm not sure about cafe .
You should go on. There is tag that 'Slow growth at start'. First 100 chapters are nothing. You should go to the end. You should pay especially attention to the starting dates. RMJI started in 2008. RI started in 2009.
What I said about RMJI and RI was the connection between the universe, cultivation, culture and etc... For example; similarity between The Wizard World and Warlock of the Magus World.
If you ask me which one is sensible, I would easily choose RMJI. It doesn't make sense to me that the immortals are interact with mortals.

WMW and WW is a case of blatant copying; can't say the same about RMJI and RI. Sure, there are some similarities, but they exist in almost every xianxia story, so it's unfair to call it plagiarism.

I wouldn't say that immortals interacting with mortals is unreasonable, since it's explained that declining sects always have to look for fresh blood wherever they can.
Of course, always there will be some similarities. I think I read all of the translated xianxia novels. The base of the two novels is very similar. At least I can say that for the first 300 chapters. But, Er Gen's interpretation is completely different. I truly want to say that.
Partly I agree with what you said for the immortal and the mortal. I said that because your interpretation for RMJI was unfair. I would want to see that at least you read 300-400 chapters.

SPOILER
I guess I can see the similarities: secret treasure, master with ulterior motives, confrontation between two sects etc. But you have to agree, while being similar in a very general sense, the situations, the behaviour of the characters, and most importantly the results are greatly different.
Personally, I don't think that taking a general idea, and then reimagining it almost entirely, can be considered plagiarising, Considering how much fiction exists at this point, you'd be hard-pressed to find something truly original.

I didn't say that to bash RMJI, simply to highlight the differences between the two. Sorry if it could interpreted the wrong way.
