(If in chrome, you will need to add the extension that allows google docs offline... otherwise you should just be able to paste the picture as a suggested edit, comment only does not mean you can only comment, it means that you can't just make a change, you have to suggest it instead, by making the edit to the document just as you would if you had full editing access.;,;.)

mini announcement/update: you'll probably notice that most times, I only make covers on Friday & the weekends, mostly because I have no time during the weekday. this thread will probably be abandoned after I get the requests in this batch done (because it's a pain to scroll through 130+ posts, so I'm going to relocate it to a new thread w/ new rules) so leave it dead during the weekday please unless you want to contact me about something. I don't really want people who haven't read my (very buried) post about not requesting to request, so that's why I don't particularly care how buried this thread is.

I know the basic of photoshop and would like to try creating a cover for my novel. Is there a site where you find those images? I ask because I've no idea which images I'm allowed to use.

JohnnyKbca hmm... I would suggest unsplash because I use that for the majority of my stuff. otherwise, you would have to know Chinese because I use renders from those sites that would be impossible to navigate without knowing the language.

yaoyueyi I know a bit of Japanese, but Chinese seems much harder. I used an image from unsplash for my first cover, but for this one, I couldn't find the right image.

I don't need a cover for my novel as I already drew mine with my finger in paint. But I will allow you to draw a picture of this diety, just like one of those French girls.

Transparency No, it's not. The FAQ clearly states "If someone has posted after your post, on the same thread, you will no longer be able to delete or edit your post. This is probably to ensure that every conversation makes sense, instead of people editing their messages to make everyone else look strange. If you double post, then delete the second post, you will still not be able edit your post. The same applies with making a thread. If someone says something on it, even if it is later deleted, you will no longer be able to delete it or change the title."

yaoyueyi the term " more of a bug then a feature" here was meant " not being able to edit may be less useful than more useful". The posts here could have edit history attached to them so people could see the changes made. If you left a big glaring typo for instance and then commented it could cause issues, also in this post where you have more requests then you can handle. Either way just thinking out loud.
