As you guys have all seen, the fall of Qidian is eminiant. With all these pay to view happening and qidian being a literally jew, many people have just given up completely by either dropping the novel or qidian as a whole. Honestly I myself am questioning whether or not it's worth reading with qidian. They even removed the function of downloading the novels to read offline. You can no longer read the chapters you even paid with ss offline. It's now part of the membership subscription benefits. I do miss the old days where you can read most of these novels for free on other sites. For example, the more famous ones, Wuxiaworld, Gravity Tales etc. Because of these reasons listed above they've lost quite a chunk of the international market. What once was free was taken by them and now you must pay. Plus the amount of ss is no longer enough for us who read more than one novel. Also cutting down the amount of SS you get from 99 or 90(Don't remember) to 50. Now with all these factors combined, I just don't know if I should continue in with qidian. I Don't know anymore. Once was free, now you must pay to read. They've ruined my enjoyment of reading novels now.

Why does Webnovel want to access the devices location? Sounds sketchy.
I'm having issues with reading GDW. It's saying chapter 991 is my latest chapter when that chapter was posted 3 days ago. And there is more chapters out yet I can't access it on my phone. Telling me 100% on chapter 991.

Even tho under the novel it says I have 1 unread. For GDW, I'm unable to read or view it. It says for the actual 99.99% chapter as 100%. However there is 1 latest chapter that's not yet added. But I can view it on the website. Not the app. And when they ask me to synchronise to the latest chapter(It says the actual latest chap) and I click it nothing happens. It remains the same.

AzurePanda Also having just read the terms for original authors in a contract given to the author by Webnovel, all I can say is I'm really disappointed at what webnovel has come to be.
Recently alot of shi*ty novels with either terrible story line which is very generic to the point where I've lost faith in Chinese Novels all together or terrible translation where it makes the novel look very rushed. And another thing is locked chapters are too many. Like on one novel I was reading(won't mention names) has almost 243 chapters which are all locked. Like wtf. Also the locked chapters are bloody expensive. Atleast release some locked chapters daily. Another matter is the quality of novels altogether on Qidian. I'm starting to see alot of novels following the same generic trend. To the point where I now only read few novels. Webnovel going for quantity over quality. Too many novels with almost same story type plot. Damn.
Ashuradrag +1 I support this notion. And also the locked chapters are expensive.
Does anyone know a novel that's kind of like God and Devil world or The Lords Empire? Also it must have quite a but of chapters already uploaded. Thanks
