Looks like it. It's three days already and still no free chapter. There is nothing wrong with the script because you can still open it with spirit stone so I guess it's deliberate
I really doubt there is error in the system. You can still unlock chapter normally using spirit stone so the script is still working normally. I'm pretty sure it's policy change, no more free chapter for all of us or maybe it will be unlocked once per week/month
