    Cakelover Glad to see there are other fans on site!

    But, I get bored of the repetitive stock characters and always similar plots. Do you have recs?

    (Qidian does have some BL novels, I think, although again maybe the quality is questionable.)

        Seconded! I don’t really have recs because the points you brought up are so widespread in an already small genre, but Dominion’s End is pretty good in my book, although not really “BL” as much as gender weirdness due to transmigration/possession/whatever. Cannon Fodder’s Counterattack is pretty good too.
