  • I am new to this site, so I would like to ask couple of questions.

    1. Can you change order of your chapters? (after being published)
    2. Can you change chapters, like mistakes and such? (after being published)
    3. Can you add images inside of the chapter? (after and before being published)
    4. Can you make a chapter and keep it without being published?
    5. Can you schedule chapter to be published on certain date?

    Thank you ~

    • I am looking for 2 types.

      1. Something that haves romance but also a lot of action, preferably with demons/vampires in a royal setting. With either 2 MCs or FL MC.
      2. Something with a slice of life kind of vibe and mixture of drama. Any MC~
      • I read sadly where most of the stories are how u described. However, I have read some where ML is not abusive toward FL. I think my personal worst are relife where FL is tortured and then killed on purpose by ML (because he doesn't love her). But in new life she changes her ways, swears that she will not be in love with ML anymore... And well... He falls in love with the new timeline her and is nice to FL so FL falls in love with him.
Honestly this setting seems very much unreasonable, every normal human being would have trauma over someone who caused them deep pain to the point of killing them (even if there was some sort of excuse and somehow ML didn't wanted this to happen, the person would be to traumatized to even be close to them).
And while it is true that each person deals with their trauma differently, there is no doubt they would be traumatized by the person who actually killed them.

I do not understand the authors that think this is a green pass. As a reader who likes to put themselves in a MC shoes (no matter of gender) I can not stomach this.

The other thing is when ML or FL don't have their own personality. I see this happen in almost every 4 out of 5 novels I read. In romance its mostly ML and in action/harem its mostly FL.
Each author makes them a doll that follows MC and does what ever MC wants. They don't have their own ambitions at all. Their only goal in life is to be next to MC and make MC happy. These types bore me to death.
I do not find this interesting at all. I forced myself to read so many stories such as this because in general story plots are good, however I still roll my eyes and sigh when ML/FL like that are in the story.

        • Sereinchoo I am personally same as you. I am not fluent in English so I used to use Grammarly but now I use word tune, cuz it gives me option to decorate my words better while still does the same thing as Grammarly except with few errors. Few words are free on daily bases if you want to check out the program.
The other thing I discovered is that not many actually mind few errors here and there as long as it's readable and the readers can understand your sentences.
After all, these types of sites are not meant for professional writes. But, that said there are few.
Also, the more you upload the more you will be seen, which is why you saw a jump in your views.
You can also try taking a week break from posting your work and use that time in writing. Then, you can post 2-3 times daily and see how that will work for you.
As someone also mentioned, you should get proof readers. You don't have to find professional proof readers (at least not for now when you are starting out), it can be anyone.
It might be also beneficial to upload your work on other sites and ask for suggestions on their forums. The more u do research the better you will get, and obviously same goes for reading other's novels.

          • There are multiple factors that play in this.
As mention, the biggest ones are what ever your novel is being seen by people. The other is quality of your own work. The other things you got to keep in mind that, 100k words for 7 months might be considered low. In a personal experience a lot of bigger and medium size authors have 100k in 1-5 months give or take. Their chapters might be smaller but they probably upload more frequently.
Besides all of that, they could had already established fans with their previous works (which would also mean they could take it easy).

My suggestion to you is, the next time when you want to compare, check their previous works (if they have any), how frequent do they write and also try reading couple of chapters and the reviews if there is any.
Do not worry to much either, and always keep in mind that it's not bad to check out other people's work. That's how you learn and expend your knowledge and can also get inspired.

Best of luck to you o/

          • Is it allowed to write about romance relationship between 17 and 24 with some of more mature aspects in it?
