They are both hot for each other and work on different floors of the same bldg and her boss Mark is happily gay. The author is now treating Cross as an extra and has Emmy hot for her (gay) boss Mark. In the first 20 or 30 chapters they slept together and then he took her virginity around chapter 50. The book has literally been all over the place and the chapter reviews saying what a great story it is crack me up! I’m screaming at my phone! Even if you don’t know the other book the discrepancies should cause questions, right?

It’s confusing because in both books James is her boss but in the original story, James is gay and Gideon is hot for her. She has tried to change the city from Manhattan to Detroit but keeps referencing New York boroughs. It gets crazy around around chapter 64+/- and by chapter 75 it’s word for word Sylvia’s New York Time’s Best Seller. And the majority of the book reviews are from the author or Emmy Thomson from her story. What does WebNovel do about things like this?
