I don't know about you guys, but to me, the latest Meta seems to be the "funni" overpowered protagonist gaining strength the moment they inhale oxygen. It could have systems or no systems, it's just that they try to be "funni" in a wacky 'wOw gUyS tHeY nEvEr exPecTeD tHiS hUh?' way by making them self aware for the first chapter by saying "Oh no, I don't have a system, aren't people like me supposed to have a system? Look at me, I know the tropes and plots just like YOU guys!"
It 'could' be interesting to see how they handle a genre-savvy protagonist but after they say this, they never make references to this ever again, it was just like a flash of wisdom before the system and the opness takes over their rotting brain to pick up/passively increase/check-in for them to gain ridiculous and stupid powers in 30 seconds. After that they drag their zombie like carcass to make funny quips along the way while one shotting everything that twitches.I don't know, it just lacks depth and most likely a trend train that people are hopping on aboard. It just devalues similar novels with the same ish concept that has actual depth with its tainted aura. But how do you all feel?
This is definitely getting out of hand. That person just has too much god damn time and effort to waste.

icyhail From what I've known, webnovel is still in its early stages. Things like price, policy, contracts will definitely change in the near future. Also, I heard that there is some communication problem between Webnovel and Qidian. China has different standards for things and is possibly trying to force it upon foreign readers, but I'm not 100% sure on it. All I know is that Webnovel will change for either good or bad.
