Just rework your entry chapters to maximize retention, if you think that's an issue. Don't look at the views, they're meaningless. Even if someone just sees your cover in a list, it counts as one.
Give it time and rethink this decision in a month. Try to post actively more often.
Do review shares with people, no matter how cringe a prospect it looks. When you unlock the star ratings, it'll stand out from the rest of the post and ghost stories out here.
Personally, I skimmed over your first chapter and I loved it. You just need to find your targetted audience.

Saw that you were trading elsewhere, but figured I'd tag you here for minor criticisms.
I'll post a nice(r) review on WN itself.First of all, grammar.
The tenses go back and forth between present and past. Pay attention to your verbs and make sure you stay on track. Find a proofreader AI that can detect those. There might not be any free ones, but you could get a 7 day trial and run your whole novel through it.Then, dialogue.

This is how you format it correctly. I strongly recommend the guide.The synopsis could use rewritting. I am not sure how effective dialogue premises are, but bear in mind that people only see 2-3 lines when they overlook your novel.
The cover's text is illegible.
Next point, chapter naming. WN already assigns the number, so yours look like:
Chapter 3: Chapter 2:Ch1: Good stuff. Very emotive and what not, although the grammar takes away from it.
Put the author note in the actual author afterword section on Inkstone.Ch2: Replace Wang's name with different words so it isn't as repetitive. I.e. The caretaker did x, the servant said y, etc.
The premise in chapter 3-5 is nice, but the phrasing of the emperor threw me off. He's a douche and all, but he sounds more like a briggand slave trader than he does an emperor. No dignity whatsoever.
Overall, the premise of the novel is interesting, but you dropped the ball on grammar / structure. It throws me off and detracts a lot from the experience. Take a day or two to start proofreading your novel, starting with the synopsis.

Casson_Westerfield I advise you to get rid of the lengthy author note at the beginning. Really offputting and no one will read it.
Most people's retention here is 1-3 chapters. If you want to form a connection, do so after 5+ chapters.- Edited
I didn't feel like posting a reply to the quadrillion threads already existent on this topic, since I'm searching for something beyond a tap on the back.
I want to receive actual feedback, and am more than willing to do the same for others.
That said, the caveat is that you do it first. I left around a dozen reviews and feedback in DMs, and only 1 person reciprocated.
I'm open to do 3 reviews a day, for the next week or so. I will award a power stone as well if it's even remotely decent.
