Android app volume keys are hijacked when reading a novel. I can't adjust my music volume.
My setting for page turning via volume keys is turned off.

Multiple times now I have read 3-8 chapters then pressed power and put my phone down. When I turn on the phone webnovel is still open but my progress was set back.

An uncontrollable 30 second ad started playing when I clicked on the profile button in the bottom nav bar.
I am fairly certain this was intentional.
If I see it again I will be uninstalling webnovel.

Trash company using manipulative unethical business practices. I will now go out of my way to never pay any money at all. Soon I will never again use this app and webnovel's services. So bye bye everyone here

Until there is another subscription service or an equivalent, I am only using this app as a tracker. I'm reading my followed novels elsewhere.

Personally I will not be buying SS ever again till there is another subscription service.

Very unprofessional to cancel immediately with no warning. It was not even advertised as a beta but a full-fledged feature.
