I recommend looking at already made costumes of cultivators or fantasy costumes in general. If you have an idea of what you what them to look like whether that just be the colour or the length then that’s the perfect start. When writing, I always describe my characters clothing by the eye of another person. Where is this person looking? Is it at the torso area or the face/head? Choose one of them and begin describing what they see and have them continue describing the appearance as they look down the body. If you’re really struggling then maybe start with colour then the upper body clothing shape/ the type/ name of clothing, added accessories like a belt or hat then go onto the shoes signifying to the reader that you’ve come to an end of the description.
