There is this Novel Idea from way back. It is called a BOOK. I personally have never read a book that has cost over 30$ US. A BOOK you know with real chapters. A book with over 500 to 1000 pages of normal type set. Hell even now on Amazon you can buy E-Books for 1.50$ or FREE.
I understand and supported translators because they where having to buy the books ( hah so called chapters), then translate it and put it where the public could view it.

But this system wants us to pay a Chinese writer, to read what i call a 2 page chapter ( most chapters in books are 20 to 30 pages). What would be close to 100$ of US dollars, ( to read ahead, wtf not ahead, but be caught up) when the average Chinese person makes maybe 20-40k US a year. MOST waaay under that.
Here is my idea. Finish your damn story's Have them translated. then sell them E-Book style. But why would you give up your cash cow.
I know for a fucking fact novels and story's are stolen every %^&* day in china and translated into chinese The Authors get nothing. When they Sue your courts say." Umm they are chinese we invented everything so fuck off." So you lose we win.

I do not take things to heart much these days. I also understand business. So this was more just trying to get a handle on the related issues. Thank you for your time. And you have to love traveling and the internet. I been places, old fashion Dial up( old phone modem under 56k connection(I had 2400 connection one night)), was better then that.

Insignia I understand your busy over seeing a Translation group. But it does not take 3 days to give a simple reply back. MMO: Pierce Heaven Til' It Breaks has not been released since the 13th of June. Before that it was a 2 a day release.
As a person in charge of, or at least the face, of your translation group. It is important to be transparent with viewing public. I rather know that something is not going to be translated for the foreseeable future then be put off, and or told nothing.
I also know you may keep quite because you or Qindain want to hold on to the rights of the novel.
Saving Face in the East is not the same as saving Face in the West.

Well Insignia what about MMO: Pierce Heaven Til' It Breaks. I am looking around for a announcement, about why no new posts. But digging through this data base is harder then hell.
