But as far as I remember, they were still alive and still try to do stupid things on chapter 2000ish.

Honestly I don’t know what’s wrong with me, I’ve read it till the current chapter. Who knows what kind of power did I use to go through more than 3000 chaps using mtl and yes, the story involves several pairings, so the main couple (Lu Man and Han Zhuoli) might not appear for hundreds of chapter or so. Personally I’m okay with it since the story follow a certain timeline so I can understand why the author would write it there. But maybe as @DJRogue said, you’ll prefer the author to write it separately.

There are many brainless and useless character with a very predictable scheme. You’ll keep wondering why are they endless. Despite all that, you might still enjoy the fluff part, they have no cheating or stupid misunderstanding or anything (except for mom’s love life but that will be solved in no time).
