They are promoting and enforcing the use of their app, be careful with this though as all chinese apps will always try to access your phone and leave backdoors. Contacts also won't work unless your are using their app.

What is the point of buying spirit stones if they will just expire? specially when you are busy and tired you would barely use the spirit stones you have. It will just become a waste of money in the long run.
Imagine this, when you finally have time after two months working on a project, you wouldn't be able to read your favorite novels because your ss expired, like wtf! where did my money go and when you ask for refund... well you can't because you already bought it and whether you use it or not is not their problem.
In conclusion, buying ss is only for those who can and will use it within the expiry date.
