WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL I got an offer from someone named Livia, I don't know if i should trust this.
A non exclusive contract was also offered to me on Wattpad and an email was sent to me by someone called Arthurthatonetheatrekid OMG THE EXACT SAME THING IS HAPPENING TO ME, I also got an email from someone named Livia on wattpad site and also email from someone by the name of Arthur sending me the non exclusive contract. How to join the discord thing?? Help plss
LittleBlueLake I've been contacted by someone representing the WN sth who also mentioned that she has read the few initial chapters of my book and has seen my capabilities in writing and all that.
That's how i got to this. Received a contract but i haven't submitted or signed to it yet, asking the editor in charge for more info but no reply at the moment. I'm a minor and i hope nothing about that will affect my work. I don't know much relating to the marketing parts and I'm still wondering what kind of rights will I lose. I published it on Wattpad (they got to me through commenting on wattpad) I hope I won't need to delete the book on wattpad since i've gained quite some readers and followers. A non exclusive contract was offered, I don't know everything about it yet.
Will it be a good choice to sign the contract?SuperSilentSin I'm also quite concerned about loosing my rights to my book. I've been offered a non exclusive contract and apparently i've been told that i still have rights to my book and all that.
But after reading other people's situations relating to contract signing with the WN, I'm hesitant.
Also is it true that many other authors earn only 10$ per month after those 4 months??? is it not consistent?
Is it WN or is it because of the author? Any way to get the proper info about that?MaxwellKHA How to join inkstone discord?

Since I published my book on Wattpad, it seems like someone read it and offered to connect me from there on. I'm still quite unsure about the contract saying that we've got all rights on our books and all that, after reading some other discussions from fellow authors who got the same offer, I'm starting to have second thoughts about this. Will my story really be altered? And will they be taking all my rights? for a non exclusive contract?
Okay so here's what I've been told:
"Hi my name is ****. I'm an Author Liason representative representing Webnovels. I've read your initial chapters and feel that your novel showcases your capabilities as a writer, thus, I'd like to invite you to publish on our platform. We would like to offer a non exclusive contract for your novels currently on the site, this way, you can keep your novel on the site but also at the same time also help you tap on the large reader base of on our platform with over 60 million unique user views, making a win win situation."I really want to be sure about everything that's going on.
I've already contacted my editor but he isn't replying on time so things are quite hesitant at the moment.
