It all comes down to one thing, MONEY. WN can't make money from FanFics so they will remove them from the rankings to give other novels a chance to rise. Because if other novels rise they can get contracted and WN makes more money.

I can't fault them for wanting money and I can see how my novel can be seen as taking a spot for a different author to rise and get contracted.

All I can do is pull my novel from the site in protest when they separated, but that's just a drop in the ocean and no one will care.

Maybe I can actually get some sleep then and feel like I'm not letting my fans down. Youll get what you want because WN already said they are doing it.

              California has a elementary school sex education system where they have explicit sex Ed classes. Which parents can't watch.

                  AuHNG I'm pretty sure that was a strong point for planned parenting when they started to teach sex Ed.. for now they haven't gone through puberty so it's safe.

                      SnoozySloth it certainly isn't the best method. I won't speak for majority, but, from what I've seen as a reader, most writers seem to care more about discoverability of their novel and the fanbase than about the horrible competition thing this site has got going.
