Then he took out a gift wrapped box from his bag and said while giving it to his wife " Take a guess what is in it." The wife after thinking for some time asked " Sweets?" The husband replied "No." After some time the wife asked "A cooking recipes book?" The husband replied "No." After thinking for sometime the wife asked "A dress?" The husband replied with a big smile " Yes." After that they both enjoyed the dinner together. (A story heard somewhere)

I (the speaker) had many friends in my childhood. But i had two best friends: Natu and Vinu. Natu was very tall but Vinu was short. If someone makes us sit in a row then from three of us you can say i was the most good and handsome boy. I am not appreciating myself but telling the truth. But Vinu was very weak at studies. When the results of our fifth standard came, he told me that "If i had gained three more marks, i would have been able to pass." I didn't believe it so i asked him to let me see his result. When i saw his result then i knew that the grand total of all his marks was 32. Then i told him " No,the grand total of all your marks is 32. For each subject you have to get 35 marks out of 100 marks to pass." He only said " Umm? I didn't know that." In a way you can say he had studied with half of the people of our village. If you ask anyone about him they will say " Yes, i have studied with him." In every standard he had studied for 2-3 years. The teachers made him pass because they had been troubled by his presence.
