Ahh, see your point! It would make the story a LOT less fun to read with multiple translators each putting in their own translated names for people and things.

I suppose, thinking about it more after your good point, it would be better if BEFORE things began, they would set up a special forum in discord perhaps, for the translators of that novel. In the discord area for that novel's translators, they would keep a LIST where they put the Chinese word and then after it they would put the English word they, as FIRST to translate it, have selected. then anyone that is translating would to to that page after finishing a chapter, and search for the Chinese words, if one is found, then they replace the word in their chapter with the one someone else already translated first. If they are first to translate a Chinese word, then THEY get the honor of typing in a new entry with the Chinese word and THEIR chosen English translated word.

With what you brought up, this new method would/should work, but also it would help even the first to translate, as they wouldn't mess up later in the novel and always would remember what they translated each Chinese word into!
