otakupunzal_93 I haven't finished theirs yet but so far, what happened is that, after she aborted the twins and finding out LSC was 'dead', Ou Ming hated Yu Lili. They parted ways and haven't met since in 5 years, but eventually they met when OM almost crashed her with his car. She has changed so much over the years and was barely fending for herself. She was in a company but was schemed by a jealous supervisor(?) and eventually was kicked out of it. Since they met, OM had been curious on how she'd been doing and had secretly spied on her from time to time through his assistant. He still hated her so much but deep inside he knew he's still in love with her. She attempted suicide several times, in her apartment through gas inhalation, then OM saved her, then at the hospital she tried jumping through the rooftop. OM spited her and asked her a lot of times whe she killed their child. Everytime she tried to answer, OM would say 'cmon what excuses do you have this time?' that's why she refuses to say it and just say why won't he let her kill herself. Then SQC and LSC visited in the hospital and she eventually told SQC the truth that because of the countless prevention pills she has taken, the doctor said that the baby would be deformed. At that point, she has already loved OM, she realized that she was only obssessed at the thought of LYH during their high school years as the innocent nerdy guys were her types. But it's too late and OM already hated her so she left. OM eventually learned about the child from his assistant then they eventually got together again, now inlove. She lived in his suite and found a job through making comics (because she loved painting). This is the part where I'm in, and his fiance, Shen Man Ting tries to get between them. I think that's the clan you're talking about where there's the rape thing and Shen Man Ting was one of it. In a spoiler I've read, it's with her foster brother? They have a story focused on them too.

I have mixed feelings about YLLxOM .... Glad if he truly loves her that she accepts / moves on from LYH crush but i still find OM's ridiculous overbearingness (like LSC) quite hateful/undeserving of affection. It's like the story/author is trying to compell us to accept rape by a spouse/husband is ok as 'love' or to treat someone harshly, disrespectfully, disdainfully and condescendingly is acceptable during courtship .... Frig, i get that LSC and OM are supposed to be super hot, rich eligible bachelors but screw that as an excuse/free-pass to behave like a deplorable despot towards a person/people you (seem) to love as a disturbed way of cherishing them. The abuse SQC and YLL suffered by these men may not be the absolute worst possible, buy should never have happened from someone who genuinely cares/cherishes them ... These 2guys have serious impulse/obsessive prejudice issues that it taints my view of any sweetness

He's a fluffball. Huhuhu He's not an abusive person (if any, he's the one largely abused in their relationship lol) He may have messed up and was impulsive at the start but he didn't know he loved her at that time. He just didn't want her cheating against him when he's trying to be faithful even if they are forced in the marriage without any love. He even regretted his actions and made up to her over and over again. He loves her so much he tried to control his short temper everytime she becomes very frustrating.
As for OM & YLL, well if you haven't read their story yet, you might not get where their actions are coming from. I agree that OM is a really possessive man. I kinda did not like their backstory, but it sure did give a lot of context. What happened to them afterwards (the one in my spoilers), was a good story, but I wasn't much into it as I was with Li Sicheng and Su Qianci. The truth is whispers I only followed through their story as I was hoping to see more of LSC and SQC lol . But it's still good nonetheless.

First, i agree that everyone has an opinion and beliefs so hope I don't offend anyone here with my thoughts.
Like many male leads, I still define LSC's actions as abusive because of the con/precepts of consent, respect and decency which are vastly complicated and dynamic because of the individualistic nature of one's opinion and perception of each to one's own or other's context of circumstances. Also, there is such a spectrum to abuse as well as a spectrum to the degree of harm being dependent on the recipient/victim's resilience. have ever had your concent violated, your intentions miscontrued, your bodily personal space invaded, and/or your rights suppressed can one understand how distasteful it is to read how commonly these plot events are in many c-novels (of many genres/settings) where the author glosses over a large part of the harm or foulness of such behaviour, to the point that some readers could/may become desensitized.
Although this is fiction, our critical thinking of literature (or sometimes lack thereof) also influences our perspective of real life. If reading such an incidents doesn't make you feel or consider it abuse, then how would witnessing or experiencing it be then defined as abuse? Such thoughts on literature can lead us to our attitudes or values, whether condoning what is 'normal'/acceptable or admonishing what is abuse. Each person in the circumstance/s would have to make their own opinion and decisions, including about forgiveness, sincerity, remorse, rehabilitation, or redemption.
I have read advanced Patreon chapters and 278-282 have me completely appalled with LSC's behaviour and temper... Not unforgivable but deeply disappointing and unnerving to be that forceful towards his 'dearest' and such hot blind anger like that could be a commonality for various assault/homicide commited 'in the heat of the moment' where regrets cannot be cured .... So far SQC's reaction to LSC in 279-282 isn't surprising and could have been more drastic so will have to wait and see whether i keep reading/supporting this melodramatic novel.
P.S. i enjoy your, QueenCL and Peng Peng's spoilers/comments so it's no judgment on your opinion or preferences, just a painful discussion topic given the current hot-topic of consent - there was even a sexual assault acquittal in Ireland because the defence was able to argue a young lady wearing a sexy, lacy thong underwear constituted consent (f**k that noise, articles of clothing are not a representation of a person's absolute mind nor a speaking voice). Global laws differ around consent but if a cultural shift can happen through common knowledge, attitudes and respect then it can go a long way towards reducing people abusing someone else, stepping on someone's dignity, or taking advantage of someone.
