no they don't. But it's weekend and the deadline is almost up.
I suggest u check the TGIF thread for next week's prompt, and prepare for that one if you're interested.

Nothing I can do about that. I'm just an author. It'd be up to Webnovel to determine if it's legit or not. I've heard that they've disqualified cheaters in the past, so if he really is cheating then I'd assume they'd do the same now. That's not up to me to decide nor determine though.
Here's my entry for the Legendary Mage prompt

If you love the topic then keep going.
Otherwise I suggest you check the TGIF thread for next week's prompts, and prepare for the one you're interested in:

ImBloo Wait then that sucks, they only voted for a week, so everyone only got a week to prepare and try their best? I was think that tomorrow is the last day to submit a novel and not the last day for voting
Rejected_Devil
That's the way it works. Contests last one week. Most authors continue writing their stories even if they lose though. If it's updated daily then you'll likely appear in the daily updates section and get a following. Maybe the trending originals section eventually as well.

Yeah, I made that mistake in my 1st contest for my 1st novel when I entered on the last day, lol.
SinisterSmile
Funny thing though, only 3 people entered that contest. So my novel placed 3rd by default, Lol!
My 2nd novel which won 1st in a later contest had a lot of competition though =)
Legend of the Gunslinger Mage.
New chapter is up.
The morning after
SinisterSmile I found out that it's announced every Friday in the TGIF thread. Courtesy of Jessie, author of Priestess of the Land!

Like Ierrech said, you technically have about 9.5 days to prepare, write and present your novel. From Friday of the previous week to the end of next week's Sunday.
Also like he said, I had no idea the prompt was available on Friday. Only after being caught by surprise twice did I realize the prompt was in the TGIF thread, buried between a ton of announcements
@WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL, can I make a few suggestion?
1. Make the writing prompt announcement stand out more. Probably make a separate, read-only thread and sticky it until the end of the week.
2. Make it compulsory for participants to "check in" their novels in the Contest thread. This helps improve transparency and avoid cases like authors silently collecting votes from friends and whatnot, then coming out of nowhere at the end of the week to nab the prize.
