Female MC's are invading are top 20
I still think this could've been handled differently. The guy obviously has problems writing, and admitted he is not an English Native (if you didn't know that already). A calm explanation would be alright, and certainly he would understand that as well. Laughing about his wording is a bit going overboard don't you think? Even if he is wrong, the display I saw today is really... I'm not defending him and how he behaved, but I also condemn those who can speak and write English well.
Lilliny ok
Thank you for trying to make it clear for me and sorry if my choice of word annoy you
"I am annoyed that a bunch of guys, are telling girls, that they can't be popular because they're girls"
But they not tell them just because they are girl right? I mean its true that most of high ranked female lead novel is about the "r"thing right? Or i wrong again?
DarkRay I'm not laughing at his wording. Or at least I don't think I am. If it came of that way, that's my bad. But I just don't know what he's doing here. I've stated my case and he admitted I'm right. He just wants to argue. Which is fine. But if you wanna argue, that's a whole 'nother can of worms. He wants to poke and jab when he's not really understanding what I'm actually saying. But he keeps responding so... Idk
Lilliny From what I see in his reply, he understood his mistake. This is what he came out with at the end:
Madevils Ok, then i am not native speaker, not like you all who born and learn English since begining.
if thats make you feel more smarter and better than me then ok, i accept it.
Try to kick me down? Ok alright, if thats make you feel better than the rest of the man than you can do it.
Hence I ask everyone to calm down, and be more polite. It's a forum for discussions.

This thread = dumpster fire.
Carry on, everyone!
DarkRay No one is laughing at his English or at his wording. In fact, I was the one who suggested that him not being a native speaker is probably the reason why he had trouble understanding what I wrote. I have no problems with the way he wrote his stuff. In fact, I understand why he misunderstood my stuff.
However, he assumed wrongly, and based on those assumptions, he accused me of pretty horrible stuff. Like condoning rape, which I will never do. Forgive me if I get extremely touchy when someone makes such accusations of me. I'm not going to pretend that I'm in the right, and I'll certainly own up and admit to being grouchy, heated and rude. Yeah, I admit that I could have handled it better, but I was pretty furious when he insisted that I was talking about adoring rape even after I made three separate posts telling him that I did not. Calm explanations? I did that three times. Can you blame me if I blow up after he still didn't get it? Well, it was wrong for me to blow up, especially since I know he's not a native speaker, so that is certainly my fault. I should be condemned for my posts, I will not shy away from that.
But you, my friend, have also been behaving in a condescending and self-righteous manner, so I don't think you're in any position to point fingers at anybody.

I believe that Mr liliny and Mr tomoyuki don't mean any real harm in the banter of world with me, wich i respond with some comment that not quite right, so my guest here is that they just cant stand a guy who write in tatered english, unlike they who can write all of his point in proper english.
So, i appologise if i bothering you all
Madevils There is nothing wrong with your English.
The only problem was you attacking me and accusing me of adoring rape, which is a very touchy subject for me. And misunderstanding my post. That's all. I'm pretty sure I tried to explain what I was saying three times, but evidently I failed, so that's probably my fault and not yours. Again, I'm not attacking male lead novels, I am certainly not adoring rape in CEO novels, and I'm not...forcing my view of male or female lead novels or whatever you thought I was doing. I was responding to a few self-centered male readers on here who for some reason advocate kicking the female lead novels off (telling them to go back to Wattpad) what they strongly believe should be a male-orientated site. That's all.
I'm pretty sure Lilliny is female, by the way.
Madevils Nah, it's fine. Now that everything has been cleared up, it's fine. I happen to know people who have been raped, and trust me, it's a horrible and traumatic experience. That's why I feel sick to my stomach when I see these BS CEO stories seeming to pass it off as okay because the heroine forgives the hero. No, it is not okay. I don't care who does it or in what story/context, I will never condone rape.
Sorry for blowing up. I should have been calmer and less emotional.
Madevils I certainly hope not. I know quite a few romance novels with female leads that definitely don't rely on cheating and rape, though they often have the usual "rich, powerful male lead" trope. Yue Yi's story is a good example that doesn't resort to rape BS. I think quite a lot of the original, non-translated stories also don't rely on that sort of cliches too, though the powerful, rich male love interest is very dominant.
Then again, I guess poor, weak male leads don't make for exciting storylines or appealing characters.
