Oh I meant that in the novel there were characters called the1st-7th generations who were teacher to Lyle and they sort of disappeared and forgot about him.

SinB a Japanese light novel called Sevens
Basically a guy is kicked out of his home with only a memento of his family left to him, but the memento actually has the memories and skills of his ancestors and they basically teach him how to become strong enough to reclaim his “throne”
The MC is kind of weak willed and sad in a way but reading on and seeing how he becomes more confident and powerful is just great. I explained this novel terribly but if you are bored and need something to read, or hell if you just want to have a good time then check Sevens out

Marcus21 I think there was one called "Superstars of Tomorrow" that's about afer the apocalypse. And maybe another one called rebirth of the entertainment giant. But its different. I enjoyed both. Good luck =/
