Quote ExaltedEmperor
Well, please excuse me to shamelessly review my own novel. This is my first writing which I used for the #26 writing contest and I truly hope that many people could enjoy it. I promise for 4-5 chapters a week and if I missed it, then I will make up on the following week. The world background will be very rich. Trust me on that. As for the story development, just read on and it will hook you up. I will try to limit the number of important characters even though the world is quite big. I'm trying to avoid any confusion for you readers. Anyway, thank you for reading on my novel and I hope you enjoy it. If you have any suggestions or critics, please let me know :)
Now to the juicy part
Yeah shameless is the word that schould be used to describe you. I really liked this story, but the moment i noticed, that i magically know some parts even though it should have been an original, was the moment it went south. If you had put it up as a fanfic and only....i mean really only....used some names of other stories or characteristics of them i would not have mind it. But stealing, in such a obvious manner, and exclaim it as your own.....man know some shame. You thought yourself smart huh?
If some of you dont know what i mean here are some examples:
World God Empress
Chapter 94 Senior Envoys
During that night in the guise of darkness, a gigantic flying beast suddenly landed on top of the city lord's mansion.
Thanks to the bright illuminations around the building, the shape of the flying beast could be roughly determined. It looked like an eagle with pitch black feathers and its wings spanning out to around twenty meters. From its back, two figures suddenly emerged and descended onto the ground below with their clothes billowing in the wind.
In the courtyard, Caesar stood by with a group of soldiers standing behind him nervously. Yet there was also an expectant look on each one of their faces.
"This one is honoured to greet the envoys!"
...
Dong dong dong dong…
In the early morning of the Mole Clan's courtyards, the large knocking sounds of the door suddenly broke the silence.
Feeling a movement from the outside of the barrier, Erza slowly opened her eyes and stood up. She then retracted the barrier and found Kay was standing not very far from her.
"Young Lady, commander Arnold is here. He wants to see you and is currently waiting in the main hall. Judging from his expression, it must be something important." Kay reported.
"Well then, let us greet him."
Following Kay, Erza arrived at the main hall of Mole Clan only to see the armoured Arnold standing with a middle aged man next to him. Then, right by the middle aged man, a young woman with an appearance revealing her to be around twenty years old stood by his side.
In the last two days, Erza had made sure to pay attention to each important member of the Mole Clan. This middle aged man was Kay's son, Lark. He was forty years old this year and the twenty year old woman by his side was Kay's granddaughter, Agnes.
"Young Lady!"
"Young Lady!"
Seeing Erza, both Lark and Agnes greeted respectfully.
Erza nodded her head at the two as a way of greeting before turning to commander Arnold, "Commander Arnold, what matter might you have for me so early in the morning?"
Arnold turned to Erza with a small smile, "Young Lady, senior envoys wish to see you. If you could, would you please come with me to the lord's mansion?"
"Senior envoys?" Erza's eyes narrowed as she tried to figure out who exactly these senior envoys were.
Seeing Erza's confusion, Arnold explained to her, "These senior envoys are experts from Black Snow Imperial City assigned to help defend Mirage City during the wave." From the word 'experts', commander Arnold bit his lips as he stared at Erza with a look of reverence.
.........and so on and on and on
Chaotic Sword God
Chapter 235: Senior Envoys
In the pitch dark night, a large flying magical beast suddenly descended upon the city lord’s mansion. Thanks to the bright illuminations by the building, the shape of the flying magical beast could be roughly determined. It looked like an eagle with pitch black feathers and its wings spanning out to around twenty meters. On its back, two figures suddenly dropped down onto ground below with their clothes billowing in the wind.
In the courtyard, Yun Li stood by with a group of soldiers standing behind him nervously. Yet there was also an expectant look on each one of their faces.
As the flying magical beast descended, Yun Li continued to wait, but the moment it drew close, Yun Li called out to the two figures, “This one is honored to greet the envoys!”
……
“Dong dong dong dong…”
In the early morning of the Kai clan’s courtyards, the large knocking sounds of the door suddenly broke the early silence.
Jian Chen slowly opened his eyes as he looked toward the door, “Kai Er, come in.”
With that, the doors began to creak open as the expensively robed leader of the Kai clan came walking in. Welcoming the ever so calm Jian Chen, he greeted, “Captain, lord Yun Li came by just recently and mentioned that he wanted to see you. He’s currently waiting in the main halls.”
Muttering to himself, Jian Chen said, “Just what does he want me now for?”
“That I do not know, but judging by his expression, it must be something serious.” Kai Er replied.
“Well then, let us greet him.” Jian Chen threw the two Class 3 Monster Cores in his hand and followed Kai Er out of the room.
Following Kai Er, they reached the halls of Kai clan only to see the armored Yun Li standing with a middle aged man next to him. Then, right by the middle aged man, a young woman with an appearance revealing her to be around twenty years old stood by his side.
In the last two days, Jian Chen had made sure to pay attention to each important member of the Kai clan. This middle aged man was Kai Er’s son, Kai Lakh. He was forty years old this year and the twnety year old woman by his side was Kai Er’s grand daughter, Kai Di.
Jian Chen recognized the person Kai Lakh was talking to was commander Duo Li, who was smiling at him.
“Captain!”
“Captain!”
Seeing Jian Chen, Kai Er’s daughter Kai Di immediately rose from her chair to call out to Jian Chen.
After the Flame Mercenaries had entered the Kai clan’s courtyards, Kai Er had insisted that his son and granddaughter call Jian Chen captain as well.
Although both Kai Lakh and Kai Di had first objected to it, after some words between them and Kai Er, they had finally relented to the matter.
Jian Chen nodded his head at the two as a way of greeting before turning to commander Duo Li, “Commander Duo Li, what matter might you have for me so early in the morning?”
Duo Li turned to Jian Chen with a small smile, “Brother Jian Chen, senior envoys wish to see you. If you could, would you please come with to the lord’s mansion?”
“Senior envoys?” Jian Chen’s eyes narrowed as he tried to figure out who exactly this senior envoys was.
Seeing Jian Chen’s confusion, Duo Li explained to him, “These senior envoys are a experts from Monarch City we hired to help defend Wake City during the wave.” From the word ‘experts’, commander Duo Li bit his lips as he stared at Jian Chen with a look of reverence.
....so on.
Is it still your own blood sweat and tears if you steal in such a manner.
