• Balabala...
  • Do you think it is possible for cultivators to exist in real life?

Pleasedeteme enlightenment varies on ur own perspective, one can attain the enlightenment to become evil or good, but in reaching the apex, one needs to be understanding, in truth, there is no true good nor evil, it is the understanding and perspective that defines the quality of a being... (I quote: Who judge good from evil if the perspective is bias? God? Which God?)

Tho i say about perspective, the definition is also of truth, there is no 1 truth or 2 truths, but the understanding of how, why, what, is the purpose of existence, (this paragraph is for those who wanted to attain enlightenment in a smaller realm level* of cultivation.

I say this, everything can be the Truthyou seek of, but also it can be the contradiction of truth, it will still be your perspective and the things u truly wanted, u can be a devil or an angel, no one is yo judge ur perspective, but you,. You may think u want to be good and found something along the line of good enlightenment, but in essence it is not. Bla bla bla, all in, good nor evil dies not exist.

Yuyumamoru worry not friend, as i already have taken many precautions and ramifications to this cause. I scattered my essence throughout the globe, though it is just 15 phases it will actually takes time, incoming to phase it still needs 3 months, to achieve the 7th phase, and to achieved the 8th it will take me 8-12 months depending on my mood, but i assure u my friend i won't meddle in it as i already have.

AyeKennot I have to disagree.. but I know where you come from... but actually what you believe or perceive is a truth even if it's lie. Even if the truths condratic.. it's truth that might as well exist for other reasons such as saying gravity does not exist... it's truth.. when it come a to perspective and visualization... but not true. It is true gravity exist as it's truth we rely on. So, there is many truths.. but also many lies.
But this concept can mostly be applied for perspective and individual purposes.

But I agree there is no black or white...it's all perspective and depends on the benefits or disadvantages from person to person.

But there is also lies. Don't forget that. But a lie can become a truth. And a truth can become a lie.

I agree there is differences between what's a lie and a truth.Too don't think I don't accept facts. In terms of perspective and benefits.. it depends... on you.

It definitely exists, just not exaggerated as it is in novels.

AyeKennot Doyou know real cultivation?.. if so.. ten why might you be here and stating it so broadly to everyone? aren't you afraid? unless it's role play..

Pleasedeteme i scroll but i got tired... šŸ˜…, well if ur asking me, if i am a cultivator,... Then that would be nope. šŸ˜€, i aint no cultivator... At least i told u guys the truth šŸ˜€ he he he he...

Cultivation as in the fantasy novels we read is simply impossible to exist in real life

Interesting thread. Everyone has their own beliefs and theories on how the world works.

                My two cents:

                • There are physical laws by which things are governed in the world. An example is gravity. Nothing defies the law of gravity. Even airplanes work by creating more lift that gravity, and the gravity never goes away. If you stop creating lift you fall. In space you are no longer affected by earths gravity in the same way, but you still technically have a net gravitational force on you depending on where you are in the universe.

                • There are also spiritual laws. Most of this has to do with people. As someone said above, we can not create life because it is something more than the physical properties that comprise us. There is some living element we can no reproduce. This is where most religions focus. Some religions might believe is Qi and Cultivation, I don’t know every religion that well. I’ll phrase it like this, we are more than the sum of our parts.

                • I am a Christian, so I can say that (where I am from) Christians don’t talk about QI and cultivation. They do talk about spiritual laws and forces that are in the Bible. An example is prayer. While it doesn’t work like a fantasy priest, with prayers resembling spells you can ā€œcast,ā€ there is power in prayers. I am not going to get into a whole theological explanation or debate, but I wanted to point this out. I also feel like my beliefs could contradict with other Christian beliefs...there are so many theories about how things work in the ā€œspiritual realm.ā€

                • My personal take? While Qi/cultivation isn’t real, you can develop your spiritual side like a physical muscle. My Christian beliefs refer to this as faith. You can do things to increase your faith, and also increase your ā€œspiritual power.ā€ Again, this doesn’t work like a video game where Cristian’s eventually can blow skeletons up with their mind. We also don’t swing crucifixes at things as weapons (that I know of). It does do things that increase your power in the world by building your faith and relationship with God. I think most religions or spiritual beliefs think something along these lines.

Cool thread yo and i think yes like in the ancient legends superhuman people may have actually just been cultivators and gods like the Greek Egyptian and Roman ones may have been people who has transcended the realm of humans, Also what if the pyramids were built by cultivators??, that would be very interesting don't u think!!
What if like as science progressed cultivation decreased and that's why the Chinese empire gradually began to lose their power. Also this theory would like explain why the Chinese empire had dominated for a very long time. Maybe Qi and Aura are basically the same and like Aura was the first stage to Qi Control ig?? and what if the monsters like hydra Nemean lion and other monsters were like animals who condensed qi. And maybe UFOs were actually just cultivators who were flying around on their condensed qi shield or something. This is my opinion and if u guys find this interesting email me to talk about this. i have a whole bunch of things like this to discuss alaninqatar1500@gmail.com

And also the Bigfoot, the Lochna Monster, Atlantis, the Golden Ants, underwater cities in the ocean, underwater caves, strange cave paintings and many other obscure things for modern man of the 21st century. Maybe this too, some remnants of artifacts of ancient cultivators?

DaoBart Just wanted to point out that Satan was originally an angel, wich unlike humans are NOT supposed to have free will, he was banished from Heaven because he was like a defective product, he had emotions. Angels are the enforces of God, humans are their children that gained free will the moment Eva took the apple in Eden. She and Adam weren't supposed to eat the apple, and by doing it they commited a miracle not foreseen by God and therefore were expelled from Eden, because everything that happens in Eden is supposed to happen according to the plan of God. I do not believe in the biblical God btw.

As for the main question, I do not think cultivators as portrayed in typical novels exists. The Energy of the Heavens is what breaks it for me. Energy is often misconstructed in media. Energy is not tangible, visible, audible and you can't DIRECTLY interact with it, you can't feel it. Energy is a transfering of potential and nothing more, you don't wield it, you just move it indirectly. I do think though that people is capable of spiritual enlightment. This is a form of mortal transcendancy, but only temporarily, and certainly not as a skill or trade. As for Fate, there are a lot of interpretations for it, but personally I would like to think that we really hve free will. The only restraint known to man has been and will always be man itself
