Writing Prompts Contest #44：:Cultivation
In Chinese, cultivation is written as "修真", which means learning and cultivating oneself, searching for your true self, eliminating the false and retaining the truth. Cultivation originated from a Chinese traditional religion known as Taoism. Later on, the renowned author Xiao Qian creatively used some Taosim vocabulary words in his story, creating cultivation levels such as Golden Core, Nascent Soul, and so on. He also created the setting that endless cultivation could result in endless leveling, from which a longer lifespan and ever greater power could be obtained.
Cultivation novels are written in a strongly Chinese style. Leveling is typically the main focus, and after more than a decade of development in this genre, Xuanhuan, Xianxia, and many other leveling type novels have evolved from this cultivation genre.

How to join
When you create your new novel, you can choose any genre that you wish. Then, the writing contest options will appear. Choose the [Writing Prompts Contest #43：Commoner Consort] or [Writing Prompts Contest #44：Cultivation] option in order to participate in this contest.
Rules
1.The main topic of your novel should be Commoner Consort or Cultivation. Otherwise, it shall be treated as an invalid entry.
2.Your story entered in the contest must be your own original work, with the copyright held by you. No plagiarism is allowed.
3.The contest will take place from January 2, 2018 to January 7, 2018 (GMT +8).
4.The story must not contain any racial or religious discrimination against any other cultures or their lifestyles.
5.Only newly-created original novels shall be allowed to enter the contest.
6.Webnovel reserves the right of final interpretation for all stories submitted in this contest.
