Final Investigation Results of 5D4N Trip to China
[unknown] hold on, is the trip to China a prize for the winner of Beyond the Language or is it a prize for a different contest? I've been seeing the trip to China all over the internet, but nothing that said "prize for winning Beyond the Language."

gorky I wouldn't say that's completely accurate. My novel in many ways wasn't appealing at all here in the U.S.
On Wattpad it has a little under 8,000 views and a little more than 400 votes, yet I've somehow remained in the race. I've put so very long into this novel, yet it never got 400,000 views and 8,500 votes like some of the ones that were submitted for this contest.
I'm not saying mine is better, on the contrary I'll bet a lot of you could write circles around me. But maybe it's not the cover that's appealing, maybe it's the work put in behind it. Maybe its seeing whether the novel could continue in a series which could run on qidian for 5 to 6 novels instead of having 1 or 2.
In my opinion, take it or leave it, there's no such thing as a bad book. I have loved reading since the moment I could understand words on a page. I'm sure everyone here had amazing stories, and I would love to see them all one day.
No matter the results, you guys are awesome for what you have done. Not many people could sit down on a Sunday and make an entire world, let alone share it with others. Everyone here is my hero for having enough courage to let their worlds, characters and plots be visible for others. Without people like you, I would never have had the courage to do it myself.

JCNord um thats an old blunder i made when i was young and foolish
Now i make them do blunders in my wake, wisdom of the teenager
Later i will be solving them instead repentance on an oldster.
Anyways i totally agree to what you say those practically are my words on an emo days!
and i had already washed those sins that u pointed too
But if are picking out old scabs then let me just add try to see that post in completely isolated way without any baises ,
Isnt it just a fragment of truth in this world , although i didn't meant to irk the ones involved i was just throwing a unappreciated nugget of idea to the world , the ripples its still causing ........,it must be a thorn , even thought most of you may not consiously recognise it often !
KingBiBiK I just want to say you're now my idol after Zhang Ye. Keep it up!
But WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL, first thing you should do when you deal with people in different countries world wide is to check timezones. That's one of the biggest problem with localization. So it's not like I can't understand why the error was there but I have to admit that it is a pretty dumb mistake  .
Another advice that I can give you: if you use a simple sql query, you should try to convert the date to your own GMT to filter the results or to set the timezone before making the request. For example, you can try in MYSQL to do: set time_zone = '+08:00'; SELECT ... WHERE likeTime < "2017-12-27 00:00:00"
It would have worked and you wouldn't have to even know at what time is your data set.
Anyway, I'm glad that you recognized your wrong doings and hope next time (even if it's not a translator who wins), it will be the real winner =).
Hope @KingBiBiK wins the next competition!
