What is your collection to views ratio?
Well, a good part of it is because in general LGBT stories are made/tailored for those people.
For example, I looked at your novel Dragoneth, I feel like the hook of the novel gay incest, which many people find morally wrong.
While, I do not have an issue with consented incest, I would not read your story because you made it a plot point rather than something in the novel.
It was not the story of two brothers who did blah blah, which is why I would pass right away.

Acutelittletrap but I didn't write any incest though. The brother that is gay is in a relationship with a non related man. The other brother is straight. They're about to go and rescue his girlfriend.
Also I see your point about perception. Although I don't know how you drew the conclusion of incest from my blurb or even my cover. My blurb doesn't even mention on incest or love between the brothers. My cover is dragons. I classified the story BL because there is a main romance between two men that is a focal point. Since there is 3 x MC.
So I'm really baffled where you saw the incest plot point.

I don't have a lot of PS/comments though. Do people just add my novel and forget about it?
I'm so glad that people on WebNovel are more inclined to comment (plus that xp motivation helps) since I'm pretty sure my heart would die if there were absolutely no comments on my works.
Anyway, I'm only going to list the books I've actually been working on.

For my oldest novella, 17,000 reads to 3 collection. Compared to newest book (BIANCA: The ChatBot That Never Was), 26,000 reads to 1 collection.
My own guess is because my newest is a lot more ... libertine ... in its approach. It's a dystopia still, just of a much nearer future.
The interesting bit to me is more the demographics.
Ah that's why! I was imagining something way darker about why my demographics are what they are.
SarahWeaver6 Yeah I wonder about demographics too. At first my tree and world story had different demographics, but now they’re sorta similar, possibly from reader crossover.
Speaking of which, the collections have been fluctuating and sometimes they tie. Still waiting for the day that the tree overtakes the world one, but I guess the latter is trying to stay on top. Just when I think that the tree will jump ahead in the tie, it doesn’t. Poor baby world is struggling haha! XD

Sorry, I used your book as an example poorly.
However, because you asked, the novel listed two men in the introduction of a [BL] novel.
So, because you added [BL] in the title and as your first tag, it gave me that impression.
From what you're describing, BL is a side plot rather than the main plot, but that is not how it came off when {I} saw it.
I did not add that I only read the Synopsis. However, my post was more about why LGBT is not mainstream rather than your book itself.

Chryiss Yea in my case, because I write about Neo-Colonialism, I was worried people were drawn to my work because of their shared French / Spanish colonial heritage.
Turns out it was something totally innocuous: Apparently Philippines really like Manga actually.
Without going into specifics, even though I consider myself a Francophile, in this context of colonialism I have more of an emotional connection to the colonized.
I'm a bit of a paradox that way.
SarahWeaver6 Filipinos seem to be everywhere on the internet. I encounter them a lot. XD They’re quite aware and into various things around the world.
