niharikabhol Like what all the others have said. You need to keep in mind that the timestamp dictates the chapter order. So, if you're posting 5 a time, do it with about 5 minute breaks in between to be sure the order is correct.

Lol! My collections dropped to zero due to glitch. I scored some extras when glitch was fixed :smile_cat: Hope they don't take them away again.

Started to post again to this story due to interest.

half_empty To keep it simple ( I hope) just divide your number of views by number of collections.
        510000/1000 = 510:1

This indicates that for every 510 reads 1 person has your book in their library. Figuratively speaking, since this calculation isn't an exact science.

Regardless, to have 510K views with 1K library adds is brilliant in my view.

Panqiuyan 102:1 Pretty solid interest regardless of ratio. You have a story people want to read that's for sure. Nice work.

1:733. The thousand ratio is getting closer and closer. 121k views for 165 collections. I clearly failed somewhere. Well, time to write more then.

Innovation Err, that’s still way better than me at 19k views and 16 collections after 2 months. XD
No worries, I wouldn’t get too hung up on the numbers as failure (even though this is a thread just about that >.<‘). From what I’ve gathered, I don’t see much of a correlation in a good story = better ratios. It’s just level of exposure to the target audience I think.

                Collections increased.

                Collections increased.

Baffled. Why the collection increase all of a sudden? It's out of pattern. Since we don't use tags to filter, it's hard to track the audience.

Chryiss I don’t see much of a correlation in a good story = better ratios. It’s just level of exposure to the target audience I think.

I see this is a correct assumption. This thread tracks our stories presence and sales capability if anything.

Veronica8 Hahahaha, that's another good way of putting it!
Because honestly, the most popular novels on here seem to be CEO romances, cultivation, or systems, ahem. cough I've read enough now to see that imaginative writing and storytelling doesn't get nearly enough appreciation or popularity. But there's a winning formula for a reason, and I wouldn't hold that against a book since I am susceptible myself to reading said mainstream stories. So due to that, I doubt it'll change much.

Keep on writing for the love of storytelling~

It has been a while since I posted my ratio here.

Minecraft: A New Beginning Ratio 1:524

My first novel is still growing in the number of readers so I might focus on this for a while instead of writing a new one. Maybe I could try on juggling two stories and just have an alternating release. Hmm...

No collections just yet, but over 6000 views per book, even the work in progress. The short story has a little less views: well naturally, because it's shorter.:D

Scratch that, one collection. Thank you wonderful person.
