I'm just gonna say. 25$ a month? Y'all mental. Bring down the price Then we'll talk.
New subscription service?
Insane especially with how horrid the quality of translations and editing is...

Cost benefit I suppose. The cost of the subscription is roughly the same amount as 1500 paid ss. Given that you get about 600 free per month you'd need to read about 100-300 chapters over the month to get your money worth.
Ain't nobody got time for that...

I spend more than $25 a month on spirit stones anyways. Plus if I got a subscription I know some premium books I haven't been reading cause of limited funds that I would resume again. Too bad the subscription isn't on iOS and I can't find it on the website. @WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL Any idea when that will be?
DepthDweller Some time around the middle of the month when the new update rolls out.
Yeah, considering you get access to both all novels and comics its a steal. But if you don't read much but one or two stories its obviously not gonna be worth it.
It is definitely much better than buying Spirit Stones, but it is still too expensive!
Crunchyroll costs almost the same PER YEAR and they have to ensure the streaming is in HD and the subtitles are released 1 hour after the original transmission (and it is free for everyone after one week, with some exceptions)
Not to mention Netflix, Amazon Prime, Kindle Unlimited and many others.
If Webnovel reach a similar price, more people will be willing to pay for the subscription, even if it is to read only one novel
Well I guess because I'm always broke it seems a lot to me. Since y'all seem fine with it -shrugs- honestly I'd kill for a Tiered subscription service. Like Dramafever had when it was live
I bought the first month because it's half off. But I'm definitely sure I won't be renewing it when I have to pay 25 dollars.
Paying for Spotify, Netflix, Prime Video and Kindle Unlimited every month. All those are a fair bit cheaper and provide higher quality. I understand that Webnovel has an overhead that Spotify and Kindle don't have in regards to paying for translations. But both Netflix and Amazon are producing their own shows, paying for subtitles, sometimes even different audio dubs too.
The Webnovel translation quality is simply too horrid, not to mention the update rate for some of the most popular books. If you want me to pay a premium price, provide a premium service. I'm going to need more than 7 chapters a week if all of them are going to have endless filler paragraphs. Not to mention the uncertainty that updates will continue. I've seen quite a few translations being dropped, with little to no communication on what's going on.
Hawkkkkkkkkkk webnovel just pays touch towards to many bad translators
I don't mind it because I read just a few novels in this site, but for me, 25$ is too expensive, since I live in Brazil, and 25$ is almost 1/10 of the minimum wage here. So even if I would want to buy premium I don't have the money.
I’ll buy the first month ($16 for 50% off) after that $33 a month? lol no.
