Bosy_Elselhdar Well, you have to take the initiative to send a dmca. People republish many books online infringing copyrights but as soon as someone files a dmca, they are taken down.

Reinesse Actually every publishing company go through checking plagiarize first for every chapter. Did you know that even wattpad do that?! And if they missed any by mistake they take it down immediately after any report first then check it. But webnovel even after my tons of emails and reports. didn't make any single action!

Pftt, sorry love, I completely sympathize with you for getting plagiarized, and wish you the utmost best in getting it removed... but I have to disagree. Wattpad is literally SO BAD and SO GARBAGE in regards to plagiarism.
There are hundreds, if not thousands, of stolen translations on WP getting so many reads and so many idiots think that the thieves are the “author”.
Despite getting reported, WP doesn’t give a shit at all.
You know, WN does respond, trust me, especially in regards to legal issues such as this situation.
Unfortunately, they’re on break for a week or so. They’re humans not machines, they need a break for the holidays as well as make mistakes.
Trust me, they’ll get it removed. Just please be patient.
Also, I noticed that on the stolen book, you kept putting “five star” reviews... wouldn’t that just encourage the thief to keep stealing? I don’t see the logic behind that

silentscarlettt Thanks for your support, I didn't care if I pushed one star or ten, I did that on purpose to report my stolen book only and to send an evidence feedback to my publishing company as well.
That contractual part from webnovel quoted above isn't worth the toilet paper it's written on. Webnovel is unilaterally responsible for the material that gets published.
Any kind of saved response that they won't look into a copyright infringement because the report didn't follow some kind of format they require is valid evidence against them in court.
They're told (identified) stolen material is on their platform -- they have to do something about it. End of story.
While this might not hold water in the country where their infrastructure is placed it's still enough for major internet service providers to simply shut down access to their network in order to comply with copyright laws in the nation where said provider is active.
